Nelson Naturals Citrus Spice Blend Fluoride Free Toothpaste 94 ml

I’ve been using the Nelson Naturals Citrus Spice Toothpaste for a few weeks, and I’m really impressed. The citrus spice flavor is unique and refreshing – a nice change from the usual minty options. I love that it’s made with natural ingredients, and my teeth feel super clean after each use. It also pairs well with my whitening routine since it doesn’t cause any sensitivity. My only wish is that it was a bit more affordable, but for the quality and effectiveness, it’s worth it. If you’re looking for a natural toothpaste that really works and tastes great, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try!

Could tell the difference right away - sensitive areas stopped being sensitive. Yes you can taste the castile soap but the other ingredients cancel most of that. Besides, my concern is effectiveness, not taste. This is an updated review. Originally bought for my husband and myself, the first review was my experience. This second review is my update and my husband's experience. I had to discontinue using this product because it became apparent that I cannot tolerate xylitol. :( However my husband is a different story and one that needs to be shared. He is a vegetarian and has historically eaten tofu almost daily a good partof his life. High in protein and absent any carbs this seems like a no brainer. AND - it is processed with Calcium. His doctor told him some time ago that he needed to stop the tofu - so he stopped. We tried to replace his Calcium with broccoli etc. but clearly that did not work. He lost so much enamel that his teeth began to thin, actually becoming translucent. He had a front tooth that had actually chipped off a decent area of the tooth. So he started with this toothpaste and it has been VERY impressive - he began to gain strength, enamel in his teeth and the translucent appearance began to fade to solid color - although the teeth would soak in colors of his food. Over time that became less and less of a problem. We have recently done some research and determined that the tofu can be a part of his diet with some other protein/calcium modifications, and his teeth are becoming very white and nice looking. A little way to go yet but it is more than obvious he'll get there. Yes, the Tofu back in has given an extra boost, but this toothpaste has made a substantial difference as well. As I write this update we are waiting for our third order of this product.

Didn't take much tube to get used to the baking soda and clove flavor. Gets my teeth clean. Have bought 2 now Will continue to buy since my teeth are floride sensitive!

We've tried Nelson Natural's hydroxyapatite toothpaste and we like the taste just fine, but this kind (Citrus Spice) is made with a different recipe which includes baking soda, castile soap, and essential oils. It tastes like baking soda with some clove oil in it, we DO NOT like it. It make brushing our teeth unpleasant. Maybe if someone is used to using baking soda on their teeth it would taste good?

Over the past few months I've started using natural oral care products. This was my first time trying Nelson Naturals brand. The Citrus blend is palatable, not too strong. In fact to me it had more of a salty taste than citrus. I like the added trace minerals concentration to help with remineralizing my teeth. I did notice after two weeks my front teeth started to look less translucent. I use this toothpaste twice a day, it doesn't make my mouth feel "fresh" like some toothpaste can, but still clean. It is quite small for the price (3.3 oz) and seems like it'll run out faster compared to other toothpaste. The label says "whitening mineral rich" but I haven't noticed any whitening effects. It has a paste like consistency making it easy to dip or pour onto your toothbrush. Overall it's just okay to me, I like the ingredients and the fact that it is in a glass jar instead of plastic. But the small size isn't worth the price.
