Great product!
These ear plugs are fantastic! 👂✨ The Loop Switch 2 Adjustable Ear Plugs have completely changed how I handle noisy environments — whether it’s at concerts, traveling, or just trying to sleep in a busy household. The adjustable attenuation feature is genius — you can easily dial up or down the noise reduction depending on the situation, which makes them way more versatile than regular ear plugs. They’re extremely comfortable — the soft silicone fits snugly without feeling like they’re pressuring my ears, even when wearing them for hours. The design is sleek and unobtrusive too, so you don’t feel like you’re “wearing” anything bulky. Sound quality when listening through headphones with them in is still great, and I love that I can protect my ears without completely cutting off all sound. They’re truly worth every penny, and I’d recommend them to anyone who needs effective, comfortable hearing protection on the go. 👌🎧

My Favourite Loops So Far
I am neurodivergent and I needed to replace the loop engage’s that I lost so I thought the switch 2’s would be a nice upgrade. The case has a little more weight to it than my engage case did (the clasp on my engage case broke but I used them all the time so bear that in mind) and I like how the case has a nice little seat inside so overall the quality of the case is much nicer and I hope the clasp will last longer than the one on my old engage case but I plan to get some kind of protective case for the protective case just in case! The silver is very pretty and I love how they look like jewelry - the difference between the three modes is subtle but noticeable and enjoyable once you get the right ear plug sizes for each ear (for my loop engages I used XS for both ears - with my Switch 2’s I have a Large for my left ear and Small for my right ear*); I’m really glad I picked the switch 2’s as I really like the variety of sound and while I found it very fiddly at first to switch between modes I now feel (after 2 hours on and off of practicing) quite comfortable now. I have always enjoyed the way you put loop earplugs in your ears but it is odd at first when you don’t know how and I recommend watching videos on how to wear them when you first get them like I did as there is a method to it; you put them in a bit then twist them round then push them in comfortably and if they feel too tight or too loose try the different sizes on each ear until they feel right as you may need different sizes for each ear like I do with these ones. The Switch 2’s have a little more weight to them than my engage’s did (like the case) and I feel that’s a good thing for me; I like that better as I won’t forget I have them in as I’m more aware of them (there were times I’d panic and check to see my engages were still in as they were so light). I wear my loops every time I go out in public and every time I sit with my family or friends when they are watching YouTube, talking or listening to music (which drains me even more in the evening) and I felt absolutely lost without my engages. They may not be everyone’s favourite but they’re definitely mine and while they are a little more on the expensive side I think they are fantastic value for money as I’ve hated being without a pair and it’s so nice to have all three modes in one now! *Edit: it’s been a couple of days and I am now wearing the Small size in both ears so if you find a comfortable fit but that changes like I’ve found I’d advise carrying your other plug sizes with you when you aren’t at home so you can change them if you need to. As I said further up in my review I was an XS in both ears using my engages and I never had to change them but with the switch 2’s I am a small in each ear currently but started out more comfortable with one small and one large and I don’t mind that at all as I’m really happy with my Switch 2’s so far.

Comfortable and block sound well. Essential for public transport.
Life saver. I could not live in London without them. Genuinely help so much, and super useful being able to change the levels on demand. This is the second pair I got (lost the first pair) and will keep coming back to them. Could not recommend them more.

Tinnitus reviewer here
I’d rate the Earbuddy Loops at four stars. They’ve been pretty solid. The adjustable settings are genuinely handy—when I need to hear more, I just pull them out a bit. They feel well-made, fit comfortably in the ear, and honestly look a lot nicer than bright neon earplugs. Bit pricey but definitely worth a shot.

A real life saver for my sensory overload
I recently got these Loop Switch 2 earplugs because I am struggling with sensory overload and anxiety when I am out in public. They are a brilliant bit of kit because they are actually three earplugs in one, which saves a lot of faffing around with different cases. The unit feels very sturdy and the manual dial on the outside is a massive improvement over the older version, making it much easier to click between the settings while they are still in your ears. The three modes are spot on for a busy day, with Engage mode at 20dB being perfect for staying in a conversation without the background noise becoming too much. When I am at a concert or a loud event, I switch to Experience mode at 23dB which keeps the music sounding crisp but much quieter. The Quiet mode at 26dB is excellent for when I really need to get my head down and focus at work or on a noisy train. It is much better than using standard foam plugs which just muffle everything and make it impossible to hear anyone talking to you. Compared to active noise cancelling headphones like my Sony XM4s, these are obviously much more discreet and convenient to carry around on a keychain. You dont have to worry about batteries or charging because the whole thing is mechanical. However, the occlusion effect—where you hear your own voice thumping in your head—is quite noticeable, especially when you are eating. While they are comfortable enough for all-day wear, the hard plastic body isnt really designed for sleeping, especially if you are a side sleeper. One slight downside is that the dial can be a bit tricky to see when they are in, so it takes a while to get used to the feel of each click. It is also essential to spend time trying the four different sizes of silicone ear tips included to get a proper seal, otherwise the noise reduction doesnt work as well. They are a bit pricier than the single-mode Loops, but for the versatility you get, they are definitely worth the investment for anyone with noise sensitivity.

DONT BUY
I caved and bought this cos of all the neurodiverse folk talking about loop earplugs if you're audhd like me and are getting actually overstimulated (to the point of anxiety induced paralysis ) by your environment DONT BUY THESE we need cancellation not reduction Even on the quietest setting you can still hear everything in your immediate vicinity (neibourghs, roomates, people outside ) please please please dont believe the advertising and fall for the high price point promising quality like i did. It's clear to me now the influencers were just being bought out to get funding for their projects. Noise cancellation is a vague term that can mean alot of things and companies like Loop are exploiting our need for silence Loop is a preditory brand in my eyes from now on because targetting neurodiverse folk with this price point while advertising our base needs and providing something that is of lower quality than my over ear ear-defenders (that cost £20) is evil capitalist bs I HATE YOU LOOP

Good but could be better
Good but I expected better sound blocking on the 3rd level. Also slightly bulky on the ears.

Like a real life volume button! I recommend!
I bought these as I struggle with crowds and a great deal of overstimulating noise, I wear them almost every day now even whilst I'm in the house, they're great. They're comfortable and fit in my ear snugly, they come with three different sizes of earplugs to fit any kind of ear and they also come with a neat little case you can pop them in when you're not using them. I've found they really help to quieten down noisy environments and help me to be a bit more calmer when going to busy places. If you also struggle with loud spaces or even just needing the world to be a little bit quieter I completely recommend.

Ideaal tegen audio overprikkeling.

Loop Switch 2 earplugs are great for me!
I love the Loop Switch 2 earplugs! I tried not to get my hopes up that these would make a difference in my life before they arrived, but still, I hoped maybe they would - a little at least. I needed SOMETHING to help me at this time in my life. I’ve only had the Loop Switches since April 21, 2025, and I can tell you their impact on my life is significant! I am a neurodivergent working from home with a spouse who also works from home and 2 adult children who had to move back home and who have different work schedules than me, and there are soooo many (often loud and always distracting) sounds and continuous interferences and accidental frustrations in our situation (for all of us). These earplugs help with all of that! I also have misophonia, which compounds my stress *incredibly,* but the relief I am experiencing (while using these earplugs) from NOT having to be subjected to all manner of noises NOT created by me is AMAZING. *Hearing myself chew while using the earplugs took some adjustment,* and I wasn’t sure I’d be able to handle it at all, but I am sticking with the Loop Switch earplugs because the pros outweigh the cons for me personally. Social anxiety while grocery shopping is made nearly nonexistent for me with these earplugs in, which I never could have imagined or believed until I experienced it for myself. Driving with adjustable earplugs seemed like a possible safety hazard, but, the truth is, I can still hear a lot while drowning out stressful extraneous traffic noise, and that alleviates stress for me. I would love to wear them during work all day every day, but wearing them and answering phones is a bit more than I can handle. When I can wear them during work, they definitely help me focus. I am experiencing less noise-related anger with the help of these nicely functional earplugs. I did wear them at a social event last week, and some people mentioned that I seemed “rude” or “disengaged,” because I wasn’t interacting with them as they expected, and I didn’t hear some people who were speaking to me from some distance away. Three things; I originally put the earplugs in because I had a horrific migraine and couldn’t bear the noise at this event I was required to attend, but I was also wearing them so that I wasn’t overwhelmed by people/social anxiety on top of a migraine, AND, yeah, I did retreat into my own little bubble as a result of having less extraneous noise around me because it was easy (and necessary at that time), and I was incredibly grateful for that! But, just know, these earplugs are tiny and can’t be seen by anyone from the front or back of your head, so it’s likely you will get these same types of comments. These earplugs are not cheap, but I feel the reward of experiencing less noise, stress, anger and anxiety is pretty priceless! I have recommended them to my children and truly believe they would benefit from using them. I would recommend them to anyone who is open minded about trying new things that could have a positive impact. I do wonder, though, about the lotions, oils, etc., that I’m transferring from my hands to my ears putting the earplugs in and pulling them out of my ears several times per day. Prioritize cleaning your ears, hands and earplugs if using any earplugs. I’m sticking with Loop Switch 2 earplugs… and, yes, I have tried and daily use all 3 “switches!” (I just opened the one Loop Link I ordered, and it’s fantastic, and I would say a *must-have accessory* for these very tiny earplugs!)
