This is the only rye flour I can find at a reasonable price and excellent quality. I will order this often! I can only get it from Amazon; I have to order frequently.

Bob’s Red Mill Organic Dark Rye Flour is the real deal: rich, nutty, and with that deep, soulful flavor that makes you feel like a Scandinavian baker in an artisanal cabin somewhere. The texture? Chef’s kiss. The rise? Heroic. The crust? The kind of thing you photograph before cutting. If you want bread that looks smug cooling on the rack—this is your flour. It’s organic, it’s righteous, and it’s probably the best decision I’ve made since learning how to pronounce “sourdough starter” without fear.

Very tasty, but a little pricy. However, this makes for some great rye sourdough bread.

I'm a home baker, not a professional, but I bake a LOT. Rye is a favorite flour with its interesting flavors, but here in Alaska, it can be a challenge to find and it's always expensive. This pack solved the problem: I've got rye for a bit of flavor or for most of the flour. Works well with either commercial yeast or sourdough.
