Virgin CD (Clear Disk)

Great album by Lorde!!! Plays perfectly well on my Sony stereo which is about 7 years old....

Yes it's clear and should work ok on most players. Works fine on all my drives apart from a very old Philips CD101 which I did not expect it to be able to read it anyway.

Had issues with the clear CD, it was fine in some devices.

I am a huge Lorde fan, not the typical dynamic of her listeners perhaps as in my late 50's, but as the name suggests a Muzikgeek I truly am and champion a wide spectrum of artists. So I was delighted to see a CD available this time as missed out on Solar Power due to it not being available in this format. WARNING!!! The Clear plastic CD does not work in many devices, so am left feeling utterly duped and disappointed, what a waste of money! Lorde and her team I hope are seeing the outcries that are over social media about this. I understand the ethics attempted here but to mass produce something that will not play on the devices intended is incredibly hypocritical in my humble opinion. My collection of music has been a lifelong endeavour and never have I felt so betrayed and taken for a fool.

Are the people having problems playing this cd because they are inserting the disc upside down? Easily done since both sides are virtually identical. Only minuscule writing around the edge distinguishes the two sides!

Awesome album,loved every second of it.Everything she does is unique but so different to the previous release.It has upbeat tunes and more sombre songs.I think it's an improvement over solar power.If you like lorde you will love this!

Lorde is fantastic and I was eager to pick this cd up especially as there wasn't one for Solar Power. The problem is my player doesn't recognise it. Tried on my Roberts Blutune as well as an old laptop with a cd tray. I guess it's to do with the transparent design, and looking online other people have had the same issue. Never had this with any other cd in my collection. I get the idea of the design, but it seems like a massive oversight that it's not working on the intended media.

Il nuovo lavoro di Lorde merita più ascolti per essere apprezzato a pieno...ma veramente ispirato sia per musica che testi...una particolarità...per rimarcare il messaggio che lei si espone in questo disco in maniera molto sincera e trasparente anche il CD lo è...bello ma il supporto non riesco a leggerlo su tutti i miei lettori CD...i più datati non lo riconoscono...i più recenti nessuno problema...a parte questo...un gran bel disco

Aucun problème dans mon lecteur Yamaha CD-300S

Pure Heroine から聴いていますが、今回も私の嗜好にピッタリで気に入りました。 clearCD 採用。私のカーナビでは再生できず、もっぱら部屋で聴いています。

It's perfect. It came fast, it's gorgeous. If you like Lorde, definetely get it, the press is amazing! It also comes with a couple of photos (like a mini photo album, which I think is cool af).
