My grandson loves it!!

The toy is very realistic in terms of mechanics. The ammo clip, the action, the casing ejection. Its honestly impressive and you could easily use this as a way to safely teach younger kids who want to get into shooting of any kind. A great and safe simulation. I bought a bunch of toy guns like this and it seems like the little orange darts this particular toy uses is not the most popular choice amongst toy gun manufacturers. Many other toy guns choose the foam darts with orange plastic tips and I think its probably the better option. The darts with this gun tend to jam and misfire, but overall its a fantastic little toy that is still satisfying to shoot and see the shells pop out as you fire!

I bought this toy mechanical gun for my son's birthday (he's into movie-making and has been wanting a prop), anyway, this one is so freaking cool that we ended up ordering another one! When you "shoot" it, it'll dispense a fake little cartridge and shell like it's actually "shooting", it's very cleverly designed. Of course it isn't realistic but the thought behind making the pieces interact in the way in which they do makes it realistic seeming. Anyway, it's a great prop, my kids love it. Definitely would recommend.

It's been less than a day but we're impressed.

This gun is a huge waste of money!! Every time you put the clip in it, it jams & wont fire. You MIGHT be lucky to get one bullet that actually fires from the whole clip! The bullets have 2 pieces, which come apart when fired and the middle orange piece is so tiny it’s dang near impossible to find them after they get fired! The bullets are a pain to put back together too, VERY time consuming. My 5 year old grandson was not able to put the bullets back together himself because they are spring loaded and small, so I probably spent more time messing with it than he did! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thank goodness he lost all the bullets by the 2nd day! 🥴 It would be a cool toy if they fixed the jamming problem & made the bullets one piece so you don’t have to search for a bunch of little pieces every time you shoot it!😒

Overall a pretty fun toy. It has one weird quirk: it does not eject a shell on the first shot. It leaves that shell in the chamber and then ejects shells for shots 2-5 (the magazine hold six rounds) and shell number 6 remains in the chamber after your last shot.
