Speedo Teamster Duffle Bag, 38L

This bag has worked great for swimming at my local YMCA. It holds everything I need for the gym and for swimming. When I am done swimming the wet clothes compartment is very useful and keeps my dry stuff separated from the wet stuff. The side pockets are very useful for holding wallets, goggles, my lock (when its not on my locker) etc. The bag is quite durable and does not show any significant signs of wear and tear. The material is high quality and allows the bag to breath so I have not had chlorine smell or classic gym bag smell in this bag. I bought this bag to replace a similar Speedo bag I owned for about 15 years. My old bag had gone through airport checking a few times, which I don't recommend for this type of bag. It first ripped along one of the small side pockets, then eventually ripped along the side of the main compartment, so I finally had to give it up. I certainly put it to good use, and although not quite strong enough for airport checking, it proved excellent for regular travel and perfect for my needs.I am a light traveler and use this bag for 1-5 day trips, or even up to a week depending on where I am going. This new version is made of stronger material. The straps are better quality and the material is more of a sheen ripstop rather than basic nylon. The main function of this bag that sets it aside from most others for me is the side compartment that extends to nearly the full length and size of the bag. Unlike its probable typical use for wet clothes after going to the gym or swim meet, I use this side compartment for shoes and to put dirty laundry in while traveling. Since it extends to the full length of the bag, I slowly empty the main compartment with my clean clothes, and put them in the side pocket. By the end of my trip I have maybe one or two clean items left in the main compartment, and all of my dirty stinky stuff in the vented side pocket. Excellent!Only thing I don't like about the new bag over my older one is that it has a mesh opening on the side pocket, making the contents clearly visible. My old bag had a small circular metal vent, which allowed no visibility into the bag. I am certain this new design allows more ventilation, but I miss the amount of privacy. I don't really want people seeing my dirty underwear in my bag while traveling around. But I have found a simple fix by just placing a shirt or other large piece of clothing along the screen.This bag does come with some false advertising regarding the 15' laptop pouch. The pouch looks big enough to only fit an ipad or similarly sized tablet, but there's no way it will fit my 15' laptop. This is OK for me because I prefer to keep my computer in its own bag and never intended to put it in this duffle in the first place. However, it would've been nice if it were advertised properly.One of the things I miss from my old bag is the additional small side pockets along the outside of the large side pockets. This was good for keys, lighters, and other small items, making it easier to find specific items fast. My old bag also had an organizer in the non-expandable side pocket. It seemed useless at first, but I ended up using it for all sorts of goodies, mostly batteries, charger, and other items for my camera. The wide side pocket on this bag replaces those extra pockets and includes an organizer. It gets tight fast, but still fits phone charger, cords, and other loose ends, which is nice.An extra I didn't know about this bag is that it has a removable nylon pouch that clips onto two eyelets within the top interior of the bag. I still can't seem to find a use for this pouch, and so far it has only gotten in the way. It sometimes impedes the zipper while opening the top of the bag, mostly slowing down opening and closing, and I continually have to flip it around to get it out of the way. I think I'll remove this pouch and leave it at the bottom of the bag in case I eventually find a use for it, but the way it came attached only continues to annoy me.Besides the top zipper getting stopped from the removable pouch, the side pocket zipper also gets stopped from time to time at the point where the zipper turns. The zippers are very smooth, but when the bag is full, I have noticed the side bag gets held up at the turning point more often then not. Certainly not a deal breaker, but wish it were somehow more streamlined. Maybe I just need to get used to it.The side pockets are definitely nice to have. So many duffles only have one extra side pocket in addition to one large main compartment. In addition to camera batteries, cell phone chargers, etc., the end pouch is perfect for all of my personal care items. I got a hard case roller for airplane travel because my last bag didn't hold up to the luggage handling, and the main thing I dislike about it are the lack of extra compartments. It has only one main pouch with a single large zippered compartment. When I travel with the roller, all of my stuff gets mixed up into one massive swarm and it's hard to pull out what I need when I need it without taking everything out then putting everything back in. This speedo duffle, on the other hand, has just the right amount of pockets to fit my needs. Any more and it might get to be too much for my pseudo OCD habits (I'm the type of person that will try and find a use for every pocket to the point where it might become impractical).All in all a great bag. Lightweight and perfect size for my use. It's got a nice array of extra pouches and organizers for storage, and has an excellent breathable expanding side pocket which is exceedingly hard to find, if not completely unavailable in other bags.

I have a lot of experience around water, and this bag doesn’t fit the bill for “water resistant” or “sturdy.” This bag is so beautiful to look at but doesn’t function well for a wet environment, which is why I bought it. I wanted to upgrade from my Walmart duffel bag but this is not the solution.I test packed it. It does have a water resistant (looking) base but when packed lightly or moderately, the bag collapses forward so that the permeable part sits on the floor. The impermeable part only rises about 1/2 to an inch from the bottom in some places. Otherwise, the bag is flimsy overall.This is marketed to swimmers. I can’t imagikr trusting it to keep my stuff dry and secure, especially electronics. It has a tablet sleeve and I’m not sure how that would ever work. The sleeve isn’t waterproof!Overall, it’s pretty. It’s light. Might work as a gym bag, but not around water. Returning unfortunately.

I needed a bag for my son as he needed to carry because his high school do not have lockers. My son carries his backpack for his educational needs, but he needed a bag for swim competition.Because his school doesn't even have a locker's for the swim team, he needed to place his backback on his shoulder's, but needed a long bag to carry by handHe needed a pack that was large enough to carry his swim trunks, cold weather swim jacket, towels, ear plugs, goggles, sunblock, asthma medicine, defogging liquid, water bottle, snacks and event schedule.He needed a bag to take to other schools for a swim competition that was a good size for on the school bus.He also needed a pack to put his regular clothes in after he changed into the swim trunks.He also wanted a pact that was navy blue.I researched and researched products made by Speedo, TYR, Finnis, and Adidas and I found that the SpeedoTeamster met my son's needs.When he saw it it was a type of bag that he wanted, he smiled.It has inside ditty bag, two pockets that are mesh a strap in case he wants to strap on the other shoulder or handle if he needs to carry it by hand.It has the speedo style and logo on the front that makes it a pretty cool bag.

Love this bag. I'm not really sure what the "dirt bag" is for but it doesn't get in the way. I can pack shoes, two full size towels, my daughters swim wear, cover up, swim diapers, regular diapers, shampoo, conditioner, my swim wear, cover up, wallet, keys, phone, sunscreen, snacks, sippy cup. Everything fits in with room to spare! It's not huge or cumbersome. Love the orange color too! My husband told me a few times, "that's a great bag!" I'm mostly using it for swim lessons as we both have to swim. It fits in the small lockers in the dressing room. Great purchase.

Me gusto mucho la mochila, esta muy practica, y os compartimientos laterales son amplios, lo malo es el compartimiento mayor que no es muy grande, se llena con un pants completo, una toalla para natación de microfibra.

Los materiales son de excelente calidad, el tamaño es muy bueno cabe todo lo que nesesitas llevar al gimnasio y hasta un poco más, es impermeable,trae una bolsa extra para ropa mojada, es resistente, bonita en realidad no le veo ningún defecto me gusto mucho, es una buena inversión si te gusta la marca speedo!

Excelente tamaño y con varios compartimientos. El exterior realmente repele el agua. Muy ligera pero al cargar ropa húmeda, aletas y demás equipo temo que no resista las asas y la correa. El tiempo de uso lo dirá.Como siempre, el tiempo de entrega y la atención por parte de Amazon no me ha decepcionado.

Muchos compartimentos, grande y ligera. Está reforzada así que es resistente, no absorbe agua.Ya había visto esta bolsa en tiendas deportivas pero estaban casi al doble del precio. Buena oferta y buen producto.
