I've been using mighty bright book lights for a long time, as I have found them to work great for me. I accidently broke the clip on my old booklight and replaced it with this order. Happy!

I have been fighting a broken leg since 11/6/17. Most of the time in bed. I read a lot. I went looking for the best bed headboard light I could get. I wanted something that would cast enough light to read comfortably, but not so much as to disturb my wife when she is sleeping. Several of the models I tried did not have enough light to illuminate a book in your hands when mounted on the headboard. I wanted a headboard mounted light rather than have to fiddle with moving the lamp every time I turned a page if I mounted it on the book.I tried 3 different lights that popped up on Amazon when I put in led bed light. Several were USB powered at about 30 lumens. ( not enough) All need to work on the attachment clip. The headboard is 1.5 inched thick. all would clamp on, but none would stay.The three speed lighting control was great. The USB charging port worked great.The problem was that when the light was mounted on the headboard, by the time the light reached the page I was reading. it was too dim to read.

I love this lamp for its sleek look and extraordinary ability to project a brighter, yet more natural light than any other clip-on light I’ve ever owned; and I’ve owned quite a few! This lamp has everything: natural brightness; very contemporary design features; the ability to use batteries or plug into its own USB port to recharge or supply power without batteries; and the horizontal shape of the lamp head, which disperses more light outward onto the page than any other book-light I’ve used. Usually, these small lamps have just one tiny, clear bulb that spotlights only a portion of a page. This lamp lights the entire page without throwing harsh shadows. I originally bought two, one for my husband. But, after using this lamp, I quickly purchased two as piano lights. I started taking virtual piano lessons at The Settlement Music School in Philadelphia, Pa. I bought a baby grand electronic piano that has a music stand above the keyboard. But my room lighting wasn’t bright enough at night to read music, and none of our lamps fit near the keyboard. One horizontal-headed Nuflex lamp clipped to each side of the music stand and bent over the top of my music book has worked perfectly! Not only are both pages of the music book clearly lit, but the lamp clips hold the music in place at the same time! An amazing lamp in every way!

I have purchased two of these now (one for my kid) - this is a perfect book light! I have had mine for years already and I use it to read every night. The goose neck is super flexible and holds the position that you put it in.It takes AAA batteries or you can plug in to charge, but I just use batteries because they last a long time. Its nice and bright, and casts light over the entire book.

We've ordered several of these book lights so far, for ourselves and as gifts. They are lightweight and great for clipping onto the book you're reading or on a bedframe for nighttime reading. The light is surprisingly bright for such a small thing, and the brightness control is a nice feature. We do seem to change the batteries frequently but we also use these lights all the time so it's understandable. This is a nice light for anyone who wants something small, powerful, and unobtrusive.

I have been using the Mighty bright Nuflex light for a little over 3 months now. At first the light worked really well, of late I am realising that even after charging, the light starts out fairly bright, but gradually starts to fade even when it is at the brightest setting.The clip is also a bit cumbersome.

Battery consumption is pretty good and if you have a charger near your reading spot you wont even need to install batteries, and with 3 light strengths this does the job. A bit clunky around the clip but it still fits those mass paperback sized books okay.

Great choice of light intensity, much better than the others I have had. Only down side is the clip is heavy for smaller paper backs.

This was a present for grandson number three, requested because his big brothers were so pleased with theirs.

Relatively expensive, nice bright light compared with others; spreads light well across double page spread of paperback. Can be dimmed continuously so as not to wake up partner. Might feel heavy for some, but it's a trade off with lighter, less bright models.Let down by being sent wrong colour initially and the nondescript batteries supplied lasted only an hour. So let's see if it eats good quality batteries. Can be plugged into a USB device for power though - shame micro USB cable not supplied at this price. Also, could do with a longer neck to shed light better on bottom of page.

With very little use the batter won’t even charge any more! Waste of money. A shame, looked and worked well to start with
