Does it come with a wand box?

Whats the quality? I want something that looks movie prop quality not a childs toy.

Very good quality but not a prop replica. They sell those for about the same price but they do not illuminate. This one is made of plastic. We have three that illuminate but only two kids, the third is for me. ;)

Does it require I buy additional batteries? If so, what size?

I bought the wand for my grandson and so far the batteries that come with the wand has not been changed and the batteries are triple a and it takes 2

If you drop it once on a carpet will it break

Karl. No.. it is sturdy.. my kids drop it often, and it doesnt break. The only con is - sometimes even with a small motion, the light switches on. So, incase they put it in the box, and the light it ON, it might drain the battery.. otherwise it is quite sturdy.
