Tai Ji Bing Shu: Discourses on the Taijiquan Weapon Arts of Sword, Saber, and Staff: Volume 6 (Chen Kung Series)

This is a nice reference for the three primary Yang style weapons all in one little book. As far as I know it is the only reference for the Dao form set in English.I bought the book to just fit in my library but I have already noticed a small transition gesture in the sword set which I have managed to omit for years.Also of interest was the 'ceremonial squat' at the beginning of the sword set. I have only ever seen Yang Jwing-Ming perform this posture - none of the Yang family lineage seem to use it from Chengfu onwards.Well done Mr Olson for translating these volumes for us.M
