I'm using it with oxygen and propane no problems. Nice little torch, quite close to the real little smith, although the tips are not as nicely finished and dont have the ruby inserts that the real smith torches have. Still works great for the price though, and have done some good sized soldering jobs with it. Can't complain for the price.

It works identical to the Smith little torch, just cheaper! The sapphire tip on the Smith is on one tip only, the smallest which I never use anyhow

Didn’t fit at all had to spend more money on fittings and my time to make them fit then what this thing coast

Jewelers torch is supposed to be capable of having a small flame...such as what you would use for doing jewelry repair. This one won't do it....Nice unit for the money.....but it doesn't include a tip small enough to do anything smaller than sweating copper pipe. I needed it for a soldering job connecting 1/8" copper wire to a steel panel and couldn't get the flame small enough to control heat migration. I liked the fact that I could use my Oxy/Acet set for gas source.

Units that leaked - how many psi were you pushing? 2 psi on the regulators per the directions. Were you using a regulator or just using the torch for control? I thought so.These are very light duty torches Require a light touch. use a light duty wrench Made one out of an Ikea wrench
