Real Food From the Ground Up Cauliflower Sea Salt Crackers (Pack of 6)

Surprisingly, delicious. For those that need a healthier snack. We purchased for diabetic snack.

I bought these wanting a healthy snack. I bought the sea salt and the cheddar ones. I really liked them both. They do have a cauliflower taste to them so if you are not a fan these may not be for you. The cheddar ones aren't as strong of a cauliflower taste because of the cheese flavor but you can still mildly taste it. I saw reviews that the crackers smell bad. I didn't think they did at all. They have a mild cauliflower smell but to me it's not strong, I actually had to stick my nose down really close to the bag to smell them. I was confused about how these are packaged because of some of the way people described them. You get 6 boxes of crackers, those boxes are just like regular crackers that you buy that has ONE BIG bag in each box. The bags have approx 176 crackers in them (that's 4 servings of 44 crackers). So if you want single servings you have to count them out and put them in baggies yourself. I like the flavor of both kinds and I ate about 10 and my craving for crunchy food was good, which is way better than eating a bunch of unhealthy chips. I will purchase these again for sure.

You can check my review history if you want.However, I feel it necessary to write this review, even though it's less than 5 stars.I love cauliflower, and the cauliflower taste is fine. But the crackers are very, very salty. That's the reason for my review. I am a salt-aholic but these crackers are way too salty for me.Regarding my parrot, he eats any snack that I eat. He especially loves crackers and pretzels. But he refuses to touch these crackers, LOL. I give him one and he'll take it and immediately throw it on the floor.NOTE: For pet/parrot lovers, don't worry. He only gets healthy foods as snacks from me with the rare exceptions of crackers and pretzels. Otherwise, his snacks are slices of apples, pears, celery, carrots, etc. I thought that cauliflower crackers would be something he'd enjoy. Nope.Sorry, manufacturer. I wish I could give you a better rating.

Texture was good, nice & crisp. Needs a little more flavor - they are pretty bland, to eat them just by themselves. Crackers are awfully small...I like to use them for dipping in guacamole, salsa, etc. Need to be a little bigger to make that work better. Overall, I would buy them again.

I'm no newbie to "health foods" and admit that sometimes healthier versions of your once-favorite foods can lack flavor or offer a different texture, appearance, or scent than expected. Simply put, the healthier options don't always live up to our hopes or expectations. With these crackers, however, I didn't have any hopes and just expected them to be a savory treat I could add to my lunch or have as a snack by itself. With little in mind, I was excited to buy a gluten free cracker that I could add to my pantry of yummy foods. Sadly, that wasn't the case. The smell of these crackers ("cheese" variety) was enough to make me cough when I opened the bag. It literally smelled like sweaty socks. I've eaten- and LOVED- other vegan, gluten free snacks that were "cheese" flavored, so I know it's possible to offer a tasty vegan alternative to such a flavor profile. Unfortunately, that was NOT the case with these wretched crackers. I'm so disappointed with this purchase. Our local stores don't carry them, so the only way I could try this product for the first time was to order them online. Now I'm stuck with a half dozen boxes that I can't even donate to the local food pantry with peace of mind. My husband and I basically do rock, paper, scissors to see who has to eat the next serving as we make our way through the stash. I gain no pleasure from writing a negative review because I know teams of people worked hard to create what they believe is a good product, but I felt duped by this purchase and severely regret buying several boxes before trying one from another (likely more expensive) online source. I bought a box of these from Whole Foods, and absolutely loved them! So, I ordered 6 boxes via Amazon.They're a very nice low carb alternative to Cheezits, but they're much crispier. The fact that they're made from cauliflower is even better. Too bad healthier things always cost more, because for a box this size the price will make you consider another option. For dietary reasons I stuck with these, and I am NOT unhappy :) They're very good, and I'll pay for what I really like :)

I've been trying to keep my carbs down and this is a great crunchy snack to take the place of chips. The cheddar are my favorite but these sea salt is also very good.

I bought these based upon my experience with the deliciousness that is the Cauliflower chip snacks from the same company. Those are incredible. These are just...meh. There are about 1/4 the size of a cheez-it and maybe 1/2 as thick. I really can't figure out what to do with them. They crumble in a dip, they aren't good on their own. I've been making a lot of tuna lately (tuna, Duke's, relish) and adding these "crackers" to the mix and that is really good. Otherwise, I'm not really sure what to do with the boxes I have. I am thinking about grinding them up and using them as breading for chicken nuggets in my air fryer. If I do and it turns out well, I will come back to this post with an edit. I just honestly don't know what to do with these tiny and skinny "crackers".

It doesn't taste like real cheese, but it is the best fake cheese flavoured cracker I've tried! Definitely buying again! Savoury, lightly salted, and crispy!
