Not the famous Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa but pretty decent
First off, this is different from the famous Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa which I have taken when needed over the years. With that said, this version seems to be pretty decent. It has American ginseng added to it but lacks some other ingredients from the original Nin Jiom formula. It doesn't seem to as good as the Nin Jiom formula but does help soothe my throat and tame the cough. It has a thick, honey-like consistency and tastes pretty good. Pleasant and take with or without water.This comes in a glass bottle with a foil seal under the lid. It is cushioned in a styrofoam block inside a sealed retail box. Mine has a production date of just 8 months ago and an expiration date of 16 months from now. Made in China. Overall, I quite like this. It has ginseng to boost energy and fight oxidative stress. It also helps soothe the throat and cough. Though I like the Nin Jiom one better for throat and cough relief. Anyway, a pretty nice product. Worth giving it a try.

This is not a real Pei Pa Koa
I had Pei Pa Koa before it was really helpful but this one has a similar package that confused me with the real product. I don't recommend to buy this product.

This brand of Pei Pa Gau may not work for you as well as the original...
I ordered this thinking "how different could it be?". When I used it the first time, I discovered that even with more doses, it was not as effective as the original brand which I have taken for many years. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about the original version of Pei Pa Gau to control my coughing... just that this one was not as effective for me.I am rating this product three stars, as it may still work for others. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...

It didn’t work for me!
First of all the taste it’s bad, plus it’s thick and just weird to drink, I tried it as it says on the instructions and after 2 days nothing, it didn’t stop the cough at all. So over all don’t waste your money on this, I believe this is like a holistic medicine!

Not bad tasting
Had a sinus infection with an annoying cough. Took 1 tablespoon daily. This helped with decreasing coughing.
