Do the tray covers work as fleece liners- so to avoid needing chips, etc?

The pan covers are not designed to replace bedding.

It says the pan cover is machine washable, but in cold water. I wash all my rat stuff on the sanitary setting with hot water. Will this shrink?

Probably a little, but if you damp dry or hang to dry you can probably stretch it. I only use the ramp covers though because I don't like fleece on the pans personally...and I don't even use them all of the time even though I have 12 covers for them.
