TimexMen's Mod 44 Leather Strap Watch

This watch caught my eye when I saw the black face matched with the green accents and bright white markings. Having owned several Timex watches I DO NOT expect a "Rolex" but I do expect a reliable, functional watch. This watch also adds a nice "unique" color combo that works well. I did not care about the lack of indiglo feature. The watch is very readable at night in low light due to the bright white markings. I teamed the watch with a nice retro Bond nato strap. I like the nato strap as it is comfortable & lifts the watch off your wrist just enough to keep the crown from digging into the wrist. All & all I am very satisfied with this watch.UPDATE: Feb 11,2020....Still very happy with this watch, in fact I wear it more than my other watches. I have seen several questions about being readable at night. This model (black with green accents ) has very luminous hands. The minute markings are not luminous.UPDATE: July 11 2020....5 months and still enjoying. Matched watch with a nice nato army green band. Think it really brings out the nice style of this watch. Watch still keeping excellent time and is very comfortable on the wrist as it is not heavy despite the size.UPDATE: OCT 5,2021...Almost 2 years and I am very happy with this watch. It has maintained excellent time....matching an ORIENT and a CITIZEN for accuracy at a bargain price. Really like how the watch appears with different NATO straps... I think this is the best TIMEX for day/date and easy to view..UPDATE: Oct 22,2022 Watch battery finally died. Replacing was easy except for putting the snapback case cover. I just could not get the cover to snap on because you need even pressure all around the cover edges.SOLUTION: Went to local hardware store-plumbing section and found 2 $2.50 solution. It worked great & I plan on using it for a couple other Timex MOD44 watches. I included some photos FYI:

Nice, good looking watch. After a bit of fiddling, was able to change the date and time according to TIMEX's online site w/manuals.Really like the contrast of the face/second hand and leather strap. All seem very good quality and good value for the money, and are holding up well after two weeks.Only reason for 4 stars for this watch is that it really is only useful during the daytime and in well-lit indoor areas. Very hard to read in low-light settings. If TIMEX would make this style with the back-lit indiglo feature, I would be ecstatic.

I dropped the dang thing the morning after I got it and it chipped the crystal a little. No reflection on the watch, just a clumsy user. I love the matte finish and leather band. It's a large watchface which easy to read at a glance. Date and day are easy to read as well. Spruce up the wardrobe with this watch, it's worth the purchase.

Dependable and well needed.

This is my 3rd order. If you drop it, the face will shatter instantly with very little force. Nice watch but absolutely not durable.

I love this watch. It looks great, but if you’re in a dark restaurant or bar, or you’re outside at night, it is impossible to tell what time it is. It should have a light up feature but it doesn’t.

Excellent and durable watch. This Timex is easily read and looks great for any occasion. I expect, as with my other Timex watches I've purchased, to last a very long time.It is a little heavy, but I like that. The larger face does expose the crystal easier, so I'm going to use caution when performing tasks that might scratch.I love this watch. My new favorite.

Diseño.Este producto tiene un diseño minimalista, sencillo pero muy elegante. Es la segunda vez que lo compro y desde la primera vez recibí halagos hacía el accesorio pues el color negro le da un toque aún más elegante. Respecto a este tema el reloj esta muy bien.Calidad.La calidad me parece acorde al precio, se siente de buen peso. Las correas son de cuero, huelen como tal y la sensación al tacto es buena. El cabezal es de un buen metal y viene muy bien pintado. Respecto a el botón para cambiar la hora, la calidad es buena pero tampoco es lo mejor.Me parece que la calidad es acorde al precio, se siente un buen reloj al tacto y es muy atractivo a la vista.Envío.El envío fue acorde a lo establecido por la página, ni un día más ni un día menos. La caja llego en optimas condiciones. La vez anterior que lo ordene la caja llego destrozada y el reloj en excelentes condiciones, en esta ocasión la caja llego un poco mejor pero se nota maltratada y el reloj en excelente estado nuevamente.Contenido.La caja solamente incluye el reloj en su molde junto con un pequeño instructivo/manual del usuario.Conclusión.Es un reloj bonito, elegante, acorde al precio, muy llamativo y de buena calidad. Recomiendo la compra ya que es un accesorio imprescindible para los hombres y este es, en verdad, uno de los relojes más bonitos que yo haya visto.

J'aime ses aiguilles bien lisibles et visibles.J'aime aussi énormément les guichets permettant de lire vraiment très aisément jour et date ce qui n'est pas le cas de toutes ...Pour moi c'est une montre vraiment peu chère et solide pour le prix payé largement justifié.Bravo Timex!
