The best sandals you can buy!
I bought these 6 years ago and they were the best sandals I’ve ever owned. I would walk miles in them at a time (anmusement parks, walking the city on vacation, hiking, wading rivers to fish, etc), and they’re so comfortable. Great arch support, I have very skinny arched feet. They are also very cute with dressy outfits (teva’s and chaco’s are HIDEOUS). I wore them for years until they were falling apart and unwearable. I’ve been searching for them for two years now and thought olukai had stopped making them. Couldn’t find them on their website, or in any store that carried the brand. I kept searching on here and they popped up out of nowhere one day. I’ve never been so excited in my life! They’re the perfect sandal because they stay snug on your feet and you don’t have to worry about them slipping off, and being in water never damaged them

So comfortable
I have a black pair of these sandals and love them so much I needed a backup pair just in case I wear the first ones out. I don't see them on the Olukai website so I fear they are no longer making them. At first my new pair fit odly on one foot. It may be my one foot is odd?? After wearing them for a few days I think they have adjusted to my feet and it feels fine now. I love that they have some arch support. I can walk for miles in them and they remain comfortable. I have been wearing thong type sandals all my life so having the toe slot doesn't bother me at all. I do have narrow feet so probably not so chubby toes. Because of my narrow feet I can't wear sandals that the front of my foot might slide down. These are perfect for me.

Most Excellent
Took a chance on investing in a brand I have never tried or even heard of before. I really appreciate genuine leather & how the ankle strap does NOT have that little elastic loop at the buckle that so many other sandals do! That makes me trust that these will last for many years to come.I also appreciate that the soles are not too chunky/thick, as the more sleek look is more versatile with either casual or dressy ensembles & despite not being very cushy, they are still very comfortable & have great arch support. The strap that comes up the side of the pinky toe was rubbing a bit at first & I was worried, but they just needed a bit of breaking in. So glad I found these; I highly recommend!!

Perfect!
Love, love, love these sandals. Year after year I look for comfortable sandals that fit well. That has been nearly impossible, these are truly the first sandals I've had in I don't know how long, that look really nice and are very comfortable. You can tell they are going to last

Arch support in a Cute Sandal
Fit: I normally wear size 7 in sandals, and the 7 fit perfectly. My feet are average to slightly skinny: 3.5" wide (measured by tracing foot on paper and measuring between 2 widest spots), 2" wide at the heel. REI near me was carrying this style, so worth checking if you want to try on in person.I really love this sandal for these reasons:- This has excellent arch support and heel cup for a sandal of this style. The bottom is also more non-skid than most sandals, which are often terrible.-I absolutely love this criss-cross strappy look and fit for sandals. I had a favorite cheap Payless pair that I wore for years, and then searched for years for a replacement, which has been impossible to find till now. It goes with anything, particularly any summer dresses that have black, when you want to wear something that passes with a dress, but be comfortable walking in. My cheap Payless pair had slightly thinner straps, with contrasting white stitching against the black, so they were slightly cuter, but these are still cute, comfy, and versatile.- The cross strap design on the big toe doesn't hurt the toe, like sandals with toe posts can. I can't wear any sandals with a toe-post, but I can wear these.-This pair was feeling slightly tight on my big toe, after wearing a bit when my feet swelled, but a few seconds stretching the leather with my fingers fixed that. Being good quality leather, they conform to your feet nicely.Cons (kind of):- The footbed of the shoe is a solid plastic/ slightly rubbery material, which doesn't breath well, but the upside of that is it is very durable and can be cleaned easily. But since the upper is leather, that limits the versatility of a plastic footbed, where you can get it wet without worry. I don't live where it is very hot, so it is bearable. It has a nice finish, so it feels better against the skin than a lot of plastic/rubbery sandals. (Update: I have since found that sometimes you are in an unexpected situation where your sandals get wet, as in an impromptu visit to the beach with friends. These sandals survived walking in ocean water, though I don't recommend doing it on a regular basis. I do love that the rubbery footbed cleans so easily and does well if it gets unexpectedly wet.)-The arch support and heel cup is nice, but on a thin sole. I think the Vionic Tide flip-flops are a notch higher when it comes to sandal support, that you can wear all day and your feet will feel great. These are dressier, of course.- The price tag at $90 is double what it should be, for what it is, but it's a style I've been searching years for (with arch support thrown in, to boot.)
