This is a great little drone not just for a beginner in my opinion. As someone who’s had experience with 2 to 3 drones this is probably the best one yet.It is super easy to use and very functional. It seemed like more of a plug and play. I’ve never been able to use one so easily. Once you download the app and you connect to the drones Wi-Fi, it literally works immediately. You do not have to use the included controller, but as soon as you turn it on it, connects to the drone and your phone automatically no extra buttons needed. I was concerned because I thought it wasn’t working, but it had already connected like literally in seconds. And you are already set to start flying.It is fast so you do have to be prepared and you definitely need to be in an open space.So far, the video quality is very good. It is better than any other 1080P that I’ve tried. The quality is very good through the phone from what I’ve seen on the screen. Just a quick tip there is a film on the front of the camera so make sure you take that off.So far, I can’t say how good the battery life is however it did come with two batteries, which is great so only time can tell. I will take it out again this weekend to check out the battery life. It is definitely worth the money for what you get and it does come in a carrying case.

We are having a lot of fun with this drone. My 9-year old son took a drone class last year in 4-H and got certified to fly drones and has been asking for an upgraded drone with a camera for a while. So we were excited to test this out. It says 14+, but my son was easily able to figure out the basics on his own. It is fairly easy to control the drone (easier than his less expensive, smaller drones without cameras) and it is really fun to see videos and pictures that you take with your camera attached to the drone controllers. Pros: Easy to use. Very nice looking, solid drone. Excellent protective case. Two batteries to allow longer play time. Sleek looking drone design. Comes with some replacement wings. Con: I haven't tested other drones with cameras, so I don't know what quality to expect, but the photo quality, in my opinion, is average (not super focused) and leaves room for improvement. (It could be due to our lack of experience with it, I'm not sure...) It would still be very fun to take on vacation, etc. to capture views you wouldn't have otherwise, but don't expect a professional quality family photo or a photo you could use to sell your home with this drone. For my 9-year old though, and for older kids, it's an awesome drone.

We just started using this drone yesterday as total newbies. My husband found it reasonably easy with the controller but we have not used the app version yet. We have just been inside as we are learning and this little thing is very cute, but also seems pretty sturdy with the inevitable crashes. I am hoping to take it on vacation tomorrow.

My son loves to fly this thing. It is stable in the air and seems to get some good range. We took it up to the mountains and flew around above the forest.

The instructions for the drone are very small. The manuals are not very detailed but learning to use the drone is easy to figure out. It is very light weight. The app is easy to install and use. Holds phones or small tablets. The remote is similar to that of an Xbox controller. I love the drone and know my grandkids will have a blast using it. Just remember you have to connect to it on WiFi to see the camera and it has great resolution. It is a good value for you money and at first I ran into walls and it held up great no problems it is very durable. Really the only thing I do not like is you must take off the protective frames in order to place it back in the case.

This drone is absolutely perfect for someone just starting out. The one-button takeoff and landing makes it super easy to control, even for a total newbie like me. It comes with a portable carrying case, which is really convenient for travel or storage. The flying time is surprisingly good—I was able to get in a long session before needing to recharge. Also, the pictures are really clear, much better than I expected at this price point. Definitely recommend it for beginners!

Good inexpensive little drone. App is straight forward and easy to use. Gives various control options. I will say this thing hardly weighs anything. I did most of my flying in an enclosed building. Outside winds will walk this thing so be careful. Other than that good little hobby drone if you don't want to spend a lot to get started.
