Sharkbanz

Excellent customer service!! My husband and I purchased shark banz for surfing and diving. We noticed the back of the magnet started to crack and the inner contents were pushing through the back after about 1 year of regular use. We contacted the company and they responded immediately. We received a coupon code to replace our current bands for free (we only paid for the shipping). We were upgraded to the newer shark banz which are very soft and comfortable and they have a nice color selection. We are very happy with our purchases and would definitely purchase them again!! I gave 4 instead of 5 stars only because our first ones malfunctioned but again, the customer service was excellent!!!

I got 2 banz in 2/15. Worn them once in 3/15 and this week while in Curaçao. Completely rinsed in fresh water and stored in original case. Just discovered the magnets are falling out of the band itself. I will be contacting Amazon and shark banz for a refund/ replacement!

Had a nasty Bull shark encounter, it bumped me on the right cafe as I was spear fishing. Over the past few months we had seen more Bulls etc. Got the band and have had no shark encounters for over a month. Great mental safety too.bob fletcher, Florida keys

It does appear that this product actually repels shark. It is a regular event in the Gulf Of Mexico off tampa Florida to encounter overly friendly shark. The first time a bull shark came in close and wanted the fish that I had speared he turned his head about five feet away and swam away. This happened four more time over the next two months. Each time the shark jerked it's head to the side almost like they ran into and invisible wall. I don't think it was my imagination. I have had many chose shark encounters throughout the years and I have never scene a shark change his mind and give up on a bloody fish. I told a friend about my encounter and he wanted to try it out for himself. He returned my Sharkbanz along with a good story. His experience was very similar to my own. He told me about an aggressive shark speeding toward him and quickly changing direction when encountering the field given off by the Sharkbanz. Light weight and easy to dive with. Good product.

This manufacturer uses Low Grade Rubber Material. It broke right after I use it first time (only 2 hour surf session). They should use better raw material, OEM factory and conduct more durability testing before sell this to customer. I am not sure about its performance against shark though

Maybe it's a placebo effect, but I wore it in the gulf and swam for hours without anxiety. I watched wayyyy too much shark week and used to be afraid.Felt like a big nerd but so worth it.

Does it work? Not sure, but I still have all my arms and legs.
