Window Mesh Insect Screen, 3PCS DIY Self-Adhesive Insect Netting for Window

We've just returned from a holiday in the south west of France and these nets were a God send. We bought them on a whim a couple of days before travelling as we didn't think our rental property had mosquito nets based on the photos online. It didn't! We arrived in a heatwave and were advised by the owners to keep the windows open at night and in the early hours to cool down the property. We immediately put the nets up to stop ourselves being bitten. They were done in a hurry and so didn't look particularly pretty, but kept out all the insects - the holes in the mesh were small enough to stop everything. We had enough to do 4 smaller windows with some net and tape left over. The sticky hook tape stuck well to the window frame despite high temperatures and even though we had to take the net off the tape several times a day to close and lock the shutters, it was easily reattached to the tape and robust enough to withstand that treatment if done with care. We had the net on the outside of the window frame as the window opened inwards, and inside a wooden shutter as seen on the picture. We therefore needed to open the window, take the net off the tape from the inside and then either open or shut and lock the shutters, before sticking the net back to the tape as the shutters let light and bugs in. If you find yourselves in the same position, then I would suggest leaving a little slack on the net to make it easier to stick back down to the tape from the inside. If it's very tight then it's difficult to stick it back down. We saw similar products to these being sold in the French hypermarkets for a similar price. I'm really glad we bought these before going away and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

I've bought twice now. I wanted to put 5 stars, but tbh the net itself is great, stops insects and bugs getting through. So does the job sort of until the down side of it creeps in, i bought white and it does show up the dirt/dust in time when window open a lot during spring and summer times, i'm not sure of black netting as i prefer white, as to why i had to buy more again in white. The 2nd issue the tape tends to come unstuck in places and yes i did clean the frames and made sure they was dried clean before putting tape on window frames. The 3rd issue is where the weather has been to warm, and the backing paper is hard to peel off where it keeps tearing and have to be carful not to scrape the bits of paper off the sticky part hard with your nails as it tends to take a bit of the glue off. It took me almost 10 mins or more to do on each strip that i cut to size. 😢

The best purchase I’ve made this year! Not only does it keep those annoying bugs out, but it keeps my cat in! We suffered in suffocating heats during the night because we couldn’t have windows open as our cat would jump out the windows. This is a game changer and I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner, keeps her in while we can get fresh air inside at night. Very sturdy, very easy to install, very happy. Luckily my windows are small so the amount of mesh received will do atleast 4 windows. Fantastic!!

Really easy to use and great value for money. Can't even notice them on the bedroom windows which is great and keeps all the spiders and bugs out

Absolutely Shocking!!! The tape does not stick, I thoroughly cleaned the PVC window frame. Ensured it was dry, the tape was curling down from the top & curling up from the bottom before I even put the netting on. I out the netting on after using more of the tape to try & reinforce it. It wasn’t good and felt like a botched job and when I went upstairs the whole lot had come down! I have never written a review on Amazon before despite having bought hundreds of items but this product is simply a joke!!!!!!! Leave well alone!!! Excellent product, with enough to do all the windows in the house. Keeps out the bugs and has been a good deterrent to keep the cats in. It did rip when my 4kg cat clawed her way up and was hanging from it (as expected) but stayed stuck and kept her in which was impressive. Wouldn't rely on it to leave cats unattended with windows open, but has allowed me to open the windows safely when at home during the heatwaves.

Easy to put up, although a bit of a faff at first. Keeps the bugs out just like I wanted. You are given about 3-4 sheets of netting that you can cut to size and loads of Velcro. I only wanted it for two medium sized windows and have loads left over. I can also barely see it now it’s up. Overall It’s worth the money because it does the job. My only issue is that the Velcro tape doesn’t always stick. I’ve had to replace a strip already, but that could be the material it’s stuck to

Na ja es ist ein Fliegengitter und über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nix sagen. Ich hatte es leider in Weiß bestellt war nicht besonders durchdacht war, denn es wird schnelle unansehnlich. Das Klettband kann gut angebracht werden aber das Fliegengitter löst sich recht leicht wieder .... Was mich aber von einen erneuten Kauf abhalten würde ist, dass es keinen Fliegengitter Zuschneider dabei ist, was andere Anbieter haben der sicherlich auch nur ein paar Cent kosten würde. Nachtrag 18.07.2024 Leider bin ich jetzt schon dabei jeden Tag das Klebeband wieder anzudücken aber es bringt nix. Also werde ich sicherlich die Tage ein neues kaufen müssen.... Das Produkt würde ich nicht nochmal kaufen...

Größe wie beschrieben, aber halten sehr schlecht am Klettband
