I was so happy to find this lime and trace minerals. Where we live our ground is marginally acidic. We need a little lime to make the ph slightly to neutral. For me this size gives me a little supply. I use a ph meter and add the lime in accordance with the area specified. I weigh the lime and apply accordingly. I like the density of the graduals. I work it in and wet it thoroughly for several days. Then I retest. Thank you.

I purchased this for my chickens to dust bathe. I honestly think regular play sand works just as good and is a lot less expensive.

Got this for replanting Earthboxes (along with Down To Earth fertilizer--All Purpose 4-4-4, and Fruit Tree blend for nitrogen loving crops.). At one cup per Earthbox, this dolomite lime will last forever and I'll save a ton of money. Fwiw, I also made my own reusable covers out of a canvas drop cloth.
