Descent Second Edition: The Trollfens

I'm a big Descent fan, and I was ecstatic to learn of the Trollfens. I love that it uses a swampy environment rather than the caves and wastelands that the other expansions and base game use. As a mostly overlord player, there's tons of new tricks with the Infector class, as well as the new monsters Harpy and Plague Worm. The Harpies have grown to be one of my top favorite monster groups of the series with their high speed and Swarm ability. Plague Worms are also incredibly useful with high defense and the great Burrow ability. As for new heroes, I haven't seen Roganna or Grisom in action yet so I can't really comment on them. But the new Prophet class is very popular in my group of heroes, and the Stalker class has a few fans as well. Bol'Goreth is a bit uninspiring as a lieutenant, however (especially compared to Valyndra the Wyrm Queen).My gaming group is a bit impatient with games, so I'm very happy they included a mini-campaign for The Trollfens. The quests themselves are great fun, with my favorite of them forcing the heroes to save a wagon full of survivors before it sinks to the bottom of the swamp and they are killed. I definitely recommend getting this expansion over Lair of the Wyrm or even Labyrinth of Ruin, though ultimately I think all the expansions should be purchased for any Descent fan.

An expansion to the the game that introduces two weird critters and some new esthetics to the game (neat tiles), that can change Descent play. Retail on these sets are a little high for the contents, so much so I was dissuaded at first. It's scenario book supplied the first three matches I've played, and the scenarios are cleverly engineered. I also encourage owners of Descent to check out the FFG website, there they have a layout developer called the Quest Vault where you can virtually design your own scenario, or check out the community's tribute. Well, as always, play what ya got.

Adds some great monsters and some fun quests. This is my favorite board game by far. the rules can be daunting but once you play it a couple times it's very easy. I have never played as a hero so I can't say much about them.

Love Descent but the game I received is missing its character pieces!

This mini expansion is a great expansion if you're finishing up the Shadow Rune campaign and looking for some new quests and miniatures. The new heroes add some solid depth to the game and the monsters are also very fun to use as the overlord. This is a solid small expansion for very little money.

This is a great expansion. I wish the bosses were among the figurines without forcing you to purchase them separately, but the Elf trapper and Dwarven support class add another dimension to the base game dynamics making strategy heavy.

Conferma che piazza Descent come il dungeocrawler per eccellenza. Nuove classi, 2, regole carte diceria per inserire quest nelle campagne, passaggi segreti. Un luogotenente che è uno splendore (consiglio l'acquisto della miniatura perchè il drago Valyria è uno spettacolo). Nuove carte armi, oggetti e miniature di mostri incredibilmente dettagliate.

No tengo ningún fallo con el envío del producto, todo perfecto. Y la expansión está también muy bien (el nuevo personaje enano es la leche). Lo malo que tiene el anuncio del producto es que si te guías por la imagen y la descripción, te crees que el juego estaría en español, pero no, está en un perfecto inglés. Deberían de cambiar tanto la imagen como la descripción para que la gente no se de a engaños.

Aunque en la imagen te la pongan es español y luego te pongan la descripcion en español y encima en los detalles te dicen spanish published, el juego te viene en ingles.
