The Little Printer That Could — and Did!
printer. I thought this would be a weekend experiment that ended in frustration and half-melted plastic noodles. But the Creality Ender-3 has completely changed the way I think about making things. Right out of the box, setup was surprisingly straightforward. The instructions are clear, and I had it printing within an hour (less time than it takes me to assemble IKEA furniture). Once leveled, the first print — a simple calibration cube — came out sharp. Like, “did this really just come from a $200 printer?” sharp. A few weeks in, I’ve printed everything from phone stands to cosplay props, and even a replacement part for my lawn mower. It’s a workhorse. The frame feels solid, the motion is smooth, and with a few open-source upgrades (PEI plate, filament guide, and a little bit of tuning magic), this thing easily punches way above its price point. The community support is another hidden gem — thousands of makers online ready to help, modify, or inspire. It’s like joining a worldwide secret club of creators. Pros: • Reliable, consistent prints once leveled • Endless modding potential • Huge online community • Excellent value for beginners and tinkerers alike Cons: • Bed leveling can take patience the first time (but worth it) • Slightly loud fans (fixed mine with silent board upgrade) If you’ve ever dreamed of turning your ideas into real, physical objects — this is your gateway drug. I started printing as a hobby. Now I’m selling custom designs online. The Ender-3 didn’t just print parts; it printed possibilities.

Great for 3 Days, Then Dead
I was impressed at first. Setup was simple, it took about 30 minutes, and the printer worked right away. It even came with a pendrive and a small test model, which was great to get started quickly. Unfortunately, after only three days it stopped working. I keep getting an error message. The printer still moves as if it’s printing, but no plastic comes out of the nozzle. Very disappointing after such a promising start. Waiting on their support now.

If you're new to 3-D printing, this machine is a gem.
So everybody understands, you do the work on a desktop or a laptop to manipulate the software, I use CREATIVITY software. Once you manipulate the part in the position, save it to a flash drive, if it's done right. It starts printing immediately once you put the flash drive in the printer and pull up the menu. Very simple. The learning curve can be steep if you don't understand that some parts don't have support, so you have to add them. You'll have two or three or four or more trial runs. But the accuracy is incredible and the quality is incredible. Nicely done. Excellent for the money.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
This is my very first 3D printer. I have no experience whatsoever with 3D printing. This is perfect for beginner's. It has been working perfectly straight out of the box. Set up was really really easy. I definitely recommend this for any beginner. The only calibration I have done on this machine has been the initial setup calibrations and it's been perfect ever since. I will be doing the other calibrations as well as adjusting the speeds. This is a fast printer so i should set it up to do what its built for. Looking forward to playing with the settings! It has auto leveling and i would say durability is fine (had one issue where it sounded like it collided with a train. Turns out the roll of filament was wound really bad from the maker, it literally would not let the extruder move. Keep an eye on them rolls!) It is kinda loud at times but...i live in a studio apartment so...yea. I have been using OrcaSlicer and have not payed any attention to the Creality cloud or whatever it is they offer with the printer. I can access it through the network, start prints and upload directly from the PC/Laptop instead of just the USB method. I love this thing! Its been printing constantly and i already have burned through SO MUCH filaments. Worth every penny! Definitely recommended for everybody and their grandma.

printer internal parts failed after 4 months Creality wont' replace under warranty
Decent printer, but have had several issues. 1 being unable to level the bed of the printer causing 1/4th of the print bed to be useless, leading me to forums of many people having the exact same problems and having to extensivly mod their printers to get them to operate properly. Next more major issue being a fan motor went bad after roughly 4 months of light to normal printing, the fan motor going bad is not a major issue, but not being able to find a replacement fan for the unit and Creality wanting to charge me for something that should be under warranty is very problematic and shows lack of commitment to their own products. will be retiring this unit and finding a more repair friendly brand that actually supports repairing of the item purchased.

Solid (perhaps best) beginner 3dprinter
I have a se and a ke, the ke is the better buy - bed leveling is more accurate, klipper programming is a nice addition, 300°c nozzle is basically a must have if your going to print anything besides pla, filament sensor is a nice to have. The se and ke build plates look the same but at least on mine the ke has far better adhesion and is way more durable (se build plate got 2 deep scratches(down to the spring steel) within the first week) Fast, good print and easy assembly from slicing open the box to your first print in 20-30 minutes (10-15 for assembly, 10-15 for auto calibration+setup) Reason for 4 stars is on mine the hotend fan has bad bearings right out of the box P.s. I've upgraded mine with the creality light+ printed accessories and plan to add the nebula camera and acceleration snesor (As well as print the fatburner/lightburner toolhead assembly for better part cooling and noise) So far I've printed pla+ and petg with good results, going to try tpu next week and cf-pa6 soon (cf-pa6 I need a dryer and enclosure) this thing is FAST compared to a standard ender3 or even the se model - great value So far I've printed all kinds of organizational stuff, kids toys, a bit of 2A, decorations(big elephant model for my mom) etc... dont know why i waited so long to get into 3d printing- very functional for everyday stuff

Great 3-D printer for making cosplay helmets in one piece
If you wanna build custom helmets in one piece without gluing anything, this is the best printer to get. I will say that you need to clean out the extruder because bits of plastic will get stuck and then eventually you will have plastic all over your hot end. Just know that customer service involves you taking it apart, not them so be prepared to fix this machine yourself don’t bother purchasing the warranty because you are the warranty and you’ll be fixing it.
