Great design in a adapter with a unique Ethernet connection
I purchased this adapter a few months back, and have been using it for my Samsung Chromebook Plus V1 and my Surface Go 64GB since purchasing. I use it for everything: to charge my phones while I work through the USB ports, to connect to wired Ethernet so I can access a faster connection for streaming machines or downloading data, and so on. Today, I am typing this review while looking at a Thinkvision monitor that is displaying my content through the HDMI port. This adapter also supports Samsung Dex mode with S8/S9/S10 but you must plug in a compatible Samsung fast charger into the USB-C port of the hub for power pass through. When loading this into Device Manager in Windows 10, the hub is loaded as a Generic Superspeed USB hub. It has USB 3.0 speed and only ran into issues when I was using all of the ports, plus the Ethernet port where it became warm to the touch. In general, I have not had drivers issues and the Generic drivers work well on both Windows 10, MacOS Yosemite, and ChromeOS.Overall, I haven't had any issues with the device. It does get warm, but that's about it. I understand some have had issues with the device during travel, but I keep it in the carrying case and don't have any issues yet. Overall, it's a nice adapter with good features for a quality price.

Expensive But Worth It
I bought this for a few good reasons and it has very many uses. I'm able to connect my phone to a router using an Ethernet cable perform router maintenance I would need a laptop for. Also, the HDMI port allows me to stream Crunchyroll and Hulu on my own phone device without leaving my accounts at the hotel when I travel (also some hotels don't offer these streaming services but just a regular smart TV with an HDMI port. Although last time I used this at a hotel it wouldn't work and I found out why. Some hotels are preventing you from connecting these devices for a number of reasons but there is a way around it. Be careful as you may get charged for tampering with the hotel room's electronics. Also, it has two usb 3.0 ports so you can also use this as an OTG cable to transfer data or connect a keyboard/mouse combo to your phone. Most phones these days are USB-C so beware if you have anything like iPhone or micro-usb technology.

Great USB-C Hub for my home office (MacBook Pro)
Just picked up a new MacBook Pro that only has USB-C ports and needed a hub for my home office setup. I looked at the more expensive hubs from Belkin and the likes, but just couldn't bring myself to drop the cash for those. I found this one from Tuwejia and it's perfect. It has all the ports I needed (HDMI for my older monitor, RJ45 for my ethernet hard wire connection and of course a couple of USB 3.0 ports for my legacy thumb drives and such. The great thing about this hub is that passes power directly to my MacBook so I only need to plug in one cable. The other benefit is that it's small enough for me to take on the road if I had to. I did buy the smaller 3 port (HDMI, USB 3.0, and USB-C) dongle (also from Tuwejia) for my backpack so I will always have an adapter ready, until USB-C is fully adopted across the industry.

Ethernet Port Causes Broadcast Storm, Disabling Many Devices
This device looks nice and I've had it for a while and the USB connections seem to work okay. I recently tried using the Ethernet port on it and discovered that as soon as its plugged in it starts producing a flood of Ethernet traffic, flooding my switch and my router so badly that all devices connected via Ethernet fail. It did work okay for a week or so and then started the storm. You can see all the LEDs immediately light up, blinking furiously as they transmit a storm of data. I've tried several ports on my switch and different cables and there's no doubt that it is this device's Ethernet port that is faulty. I don't trust the device now so I won't use the USB ports either. It's a shame because it looks well built and is practical otherwise.

Pretty good, but needs to be supported
I purchased this adapter so I could attach my MacBook Pro directly to my modem and needed an ethernet port. It does this very well. However, I keep my laptop lifted on a small stand so it is eye height. This means the adapter hangs down and unplugs itself (all it takes is a little bit for it to be unplugged). If I support the adapter then it stays plugged in and there is no problem. This is what I do and it really isn't much hassle. But this is why it gets 4 instead of 5 stars.

Great size and build quality
I love this adapter. I usually like things that are as minimalistic as possible and this is one of those products. Its small, sleek and just what I was looking for. Although I did think it was a little expensive but all the other ones I found on amazon were more expensive so, I guess this is a good deal.As for the ethernet port goes, I am getting amazing speeds. I am not sure if the port has anything to do with the speed but I am getting my full gigabit speed with this adapter. Finally, I have another adapter and when I use it to connect my laptop to a monitor sometimes there is their weird annoying blue/pink filter that shows up over the screen (which although gets fixed when I remove and put it back). I haven't faced this problem with this adapter yet.

solid build feel
I am using this on my "HP Chromebook x360 11 G1 EE". It can power the laptop at the same time as running an external monitor at 1080p with 2 usb devices plugged in at the same time and the Ethernet / Network functioned well in chrome OS, all from one usb C port. I also have another usb C adapter from Tuwejia and I can use one in each of the two usb C ports on my chromebook in order to hook up two additional displays to my chromebook. Note that the usb C port on the adapters is only for power input so you can not daisy chain the adapters one into the other.(update) I just got a Galaxy S9+ and everything works well on there as well, it even supports the Samsung DEX features.

Failed in six months and company didn't respond to requests for help
I normally don't write reviews, but I'm doing so here because I had a pretty negative experience. This seemed like a really good item in terms of features, but it failed in five months (USB C port failed, and later the HDMI port), and when I sent a message on What'sApp following the directions on the companies website, there was no reply.
