Gardner Bender20-153P Disconnect Male & Female Pairs, Fully-Insulated Barrel, 16-14 AWG, Blue

Works great with 12 AWG wire. The barrel insulation doesn't crack/break off like with some cheaper crimp-on connectors when the crimp tool mashes down on the barrel. Not sure what the metal alloy is though. Scraping it, the metal doesn't look like tin-plated copper. The silver color seems to go all the way through (I see no copper color underneath and I scraped pretty deep). Couldn't find any info online either. Therefore, one star off for the unknown metal composition.

Bargain price but great quality

not only does this NOT fit #10 or #12 AWG stranded wire it is also NOT 1/4" - not even close. So now I have 16 totally worthless pieces of useless junk. Every claim made is a LIE and now I have to drive 60 miles to the nearest hardware store to buy a dozen actual 1/4" x #10 terminals to effect the repairs I need to do. Recently, there are far more lying fraudulent thieves selling total garbage on Amazon than there are vendors selling accurately described products. And if anyone reading this hasn't figured out by now, every 5 star review, regardless of product, are either paid shills or clueless morons. Amazon used to be far better than this. Now its 90% junk, fraud and liars.

These work very well. Actually a lot better and stronger than the more expensive ones that have the pretty silicone / nylon wire cover. The metal on this brand is better than any other brand I have found so-far. They are crimp-on, but I chose to solder mine due to the nature of where it is being installed (speaker system).

Well made connector. Holds good on connector.Had originally ordered install bay brand but had to return because of loose fit.

Really prefer to spend a few extra bucks and get these Gardner Bender terminals over the much cheaper and "much cheaper" Chinese terminals found on Amazon. Made in the USA and you can tell.

Same connector rating on heater cord and fit perfectly, now the heater is working and saved on buying yet another heater.
