Exceptional Japanese Quality
18mm Snap off utility knifeThe quality of this utility knife is exceptional, Japanese are really skeptical about what they're doing. I love it!, all metal construction except only 2 things! Although this knife is great it could be much more better IF ratcheting lock wheel knob should be metal too but it is plastic, and the blade snapper is also Plastic as well but the rest of the knife are all metal. Overall it's a great knife, great quality Japanese made utility snap off knife versus the Chinese imitations, copied and replica ones. One thing for sure! I have to use and abuse this knife to find out if it last! My 17 year old Japanese made retractable utility knife is still working though but it's not a snap off like this one. I highly recommend this cutting tool. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love it until it broke. I think i was taking good care of it. Didn't last me a month.

Good knife. It can only hold one blade.
The blade holder does bend if you drop it tip down.

Super sharp and easy to handle; helped me move apartments
With my old go-with-the-cheapest box cutter on its last legs/blades, I decided to shop around for something a bit nicer to replace it just in time for moving into a new apartment. The NT Cutter wasn't much more expensive, but it sure as heck was a lot nicer.Since getting it a few months ago, it's been through some brutal box and packing tape cutting, including really hard multi-ply corrugated cardboard boxes that held appliances and heavy furniture -- and even the dense sort of boards that protect furniture corners (for which I probably shouldn't use a box cutter). For the vast majority of boxes, it slices through like butter, never catching or tearing except on the gnarliest packaging. The edge has certainly started to visibly wear by now, but its performance for my purposes is largely unchanged (especially now that I've gotten through the move in large part). The size is perfect for my small hands, and I really like the clicky extension/retraction -- much smoother than my old box cutter.Really happy with this knife, and would be glad to keep refilling it with blades.

Rock You.
It's hard to get excited about a utility knife, this one works well, is made of durable materials, & has quality components. The important part is where the blade is held near the cut line, it seems to be a little stronger & a little bit more precise than most others, which is why I like this brand.

As good as Olfa L-1
A little heavier than the Olfa L-1, and ever so slightly larger, but you'd expect a little extra weight when you move to a metal cutter from a plastic one. The NT Cutter doesn't feel any heavier when you're using it. The ratchet lock is just as nice as the Olfa. Super sturdy and I've put a ton of weight on it cutting outthick silicone between glass. This new NT Cutter weighs in at 104g and my old weathered banged up Olfa L-1 at 74g both with an identical brand new blade. The same crappy kitchen scales were used so use the weight given as a scale for comparison. I've used the NT Cutter for a few days now and I'm really happy with it. As good as the Olfa so far and so long as the ratchet is as good, and it does seem as good, I think the aluminium body may outlast the Olfa. It's also worth noting the ratchet piece from the Olfa L-1 fits the NT Cutter, although the ratchet piece from the NT Cutter is a tiny bit wider than the slot in the Olfa so it doesn't fit the other way. In summary, this seems like a really solid knife and a great alternative to Olfas L-1. Plus it looks very different so it's less likely to move to someone else's toolbag from your own...

Excellent quality, clicky, good grrip
I buy very rarely this kind of utensil. For the only one unit I need, quality is more important (compared to other offers where you could get 2 or 3 units for the same price). I don't use often, and in fact could get away OK with the dollar store one I am having. But I need replacement blades so I just ordered this knife at the same time just to try out something better. I am glad I did. It feel more pleasant to use a quality product.

Exellent autolocking utility knife
I really like this utility knife as it is lightweight, made of stainless steels, though painted with a nice vintage look, and the blade locks to the location I'm using it without using a wheel.

Good value
What a neat, yet simple but solid cutter. Grippy slider, a blade rail with fine teeth, for more blade positions, lanyard hole, and well made and executed plastic parts. A great step up from many cheaper brands, and meet well my expectations. A good choice as long you do not expect a full metal cutter or any specialty knife features.Measured dimensions (mm): 39×155×19 Weight (g) with original blade: 68
