Railway Children (Wordsworth Children's Classics)

We really enjoyed this book as a family! My kids are 2, 6 &7, and this book was pretty good for all of them (and the grown ups too!). From an adult perspective, I felt there were some gaps in the story. From the youngest’s perspective it was, perhaps, too descriptive. But the story is very engaging, from a little mystery, to the ever-important-to-two-year-olds topic of trains, there is room in each character to identify with, and enough whimsy to engage everyone!I am ok with owning it, but It would have been just as well to borrow it from a library too.

LOVE This book. Great price! Now I can gift it to my nieces and nephews and friends too!

This adaptation of E. Nesbit's children's classic follows the fortunes of a group of Edwardian children whose father is wrongly jailed for treason. Exiled with their mother to a life of genteel poverty on the Yorkshire Moors, they are soon drawn to the railway at the bottom of the garden, and all kinds of adventures follow . Can't fail to want to re-watch it over and over . highly recomended . a lovely childrens story .

brought this for my nephew but as yet I haven't been able to give him

Good book

christmas present

I have a more precious copy of this book and I so wanted to read it but sadly I bent the other book so we needed a urgent new book and this was a perfect option as it came so quickly.Signed Amelia ( age 10 )
