i have a 24 ft extension ladder will this work on indoor polished floor tiles. Will it give sufficient traction so the ladder does not slip?

I bought one of these pads specifically for that purpose. I was helping my niece paint an 18 foot high living room with a 24 foot ladder. She also had polished wood floors and tiles. Pad worked very well. I weigh 215 and the ladder was rock stable. The pad smells very strongly of rubber but don't put in garage before use. Has to be room temperature.

I just had my hardwood floor refinished. Will using this under my extension ladder hurt the hardwood floor finish?

It's all soft and heavy rubber so likely not but I guess it depends how heavy the ladder is and most importantly how heavy the person is who is going to go up.

Or will this work with a little giant 22ft ladder? The legs flare at the end to another 27” wide, is the total width 27” or is that the grove?

The overall width of the pad is 27”, but as one side of the raised lip runs the full width, I see no problem in this item working just fine for you.

Would this work for a large wall leaning mirror?

It might...there are several grooves that might aid in the slanting of the mirror. But it is designed for ladders
