Good device- needs some instructions!
Needed a strong turntable for a 35 pound disk of granite. Epoxied the turntable to the granite and attached eight rubber feet to protect whatever surface that the device was placed on. My only complaint is the turntable was loud, even before the weight was added. I could find no suggestions as to what type of lubricant to use or how to lubricate it. Decided to use 30 weight motor oil and found lubricating ports on the turntable. Those ports had caused an earlier problem which brought my attention to them. I would 1) include lubricating instructions 2) label the lubrication ports. The device now works well and is quiet, it was a reasonable price.

No more fights on Taco night!
I bought this after the plastic turntable bearings that came with my Lazy Susan disintegrated after a year. These are way better in quality and performance. I expect they will outlast the wooden Lazy Susan that I mounted it to (with 4 small wood screws that I found in the garage). This has restored peace and harmony in my family, as we use the Lazy Susan on the dinner table to disseminate the fixin's on Taco Tuesday nights. Elbows were flying and things were starting to get ugly when we couldn't simply give a gentle spin to get to the desired bowl of lettuce, onion, olives, salsa, etc.., Peace has been restored -- as quality bearings are what make the world go around in my household!

Overall good product and price.
I bought 3 boxes of 5 each, so a total of 15. Overall, they work well and were priced better than anywhere else I could find. So, why 4 stars??? One of the 15 was glitched- so, it did not roll around very well and took several hours (and some oil), to get to where it was even acceptable. I didn't make an attempt at hassling the seller, just didn't want to mess with that. Would buy again if I needed more and would recommend to a friend. If you check out the picture-- I bought these for my high school wood shop class, we then made glue-lam alder serving rounds and used the lazy Susan's with a base that we built. They are now in use at a community senior center (picture was of their Thanksgiving Dinner). Mostly a community service project so we were looking at mostly breaking even on costs for their project.

Great, but installation instructions would be nice
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. From a quality and studiness standpoint this is a great product. I've included a video of an old cable spool which I turned into a rotating book case using this product. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was that there were no instructions whatsoever. Not even a link to a website. I had to depend on videos from competing products to show me how to install it. Short of that, I would highly recommend this product, once you figure out how to install it.

Very smooth operation
I had reviewed this before I had finished my project and I am very happy with the results. The bearing is supporting a 26 inch diameter wooden round for a Lazy Susan I had been talking about building for years. This turns very smoothly and with very little noise from the metal to metal operation of the bearing. The base is made up of some scrap wood I had which is never seen and the top is from another supplier. We have been very happy with the results and now I wish I had done this sooner.

Solid but a little noisy
I recommend greasing this before installation. I greased mine after because it turned out to be noisy and the grease really reduced the rattle of the ball bearings. It would have been a lot easier to do before installation. Nonetheless, it still makes noise and so I have deducted one star for that. I am using this on a turntable for YouTube videos and product reviews. The noise is less than ideal and may mean I have to record sound separately, which is a pain. Too bad the bearing races couldn't be a bit tighter. But it gets the job done, and there was plenty of easy access to install screws to attach it to a wooden round from a big box hardware store. Less than $20 for a 24 inch turntable is good value in my opinion, even if there is a little noise as you turn her. Would be great in the middle of a dining table.

Excellent Value. Very durable and useful for my purpose.

Stuck, won’t spin smoothly!
I’m not sure I want to try 1000lbs, I got this for a small round lazy Susan for my table about 5 lbs plus the stuff is about 25lbs and it keeps getting stuck when I turn it. Definitely disappointed but I’m so tired of dealing with the return and refund process that I’ll take the loss!
