Q: I have an 2007 F150 xl with a damaged front grill emblem 9x3 5/8 inches with posts, will this one work?

Yes. I have 2007 Ford F-150 Lariat with same dimensions. I just ordered one a month ago and was perfect. It has the posts and used the two original post nuts to attach.

Q: Does this emblem fit the front grille of a 2006 Ranger?

if is a 9 inch emblem on the Ranger it should fit.

Q: Does the emblem have adhesive already installed on its back? As I understand it, this is only method for attaching the emblem to a tailgate.

It has adhesive and also 1 alignment stud in the center and 1 on each end for the small open cap nuts that's cuts its own groove in the studs
