Can't stop it from folding over in the wind. Mounted to the handle of my cart and the slightest breeze causes it rotate around the bar I mounted it to. Tried a smaller size of inserts, very, very hard to install and still not secure. Unsure what to try next, either a screw through the mounting or throw it in the bin and try another brand. Unfortunately it looks like 75% of what is offered is the same product with a different label and seller.

I think many will find that this umbrella holder does not fit the bar you’re trying to attach it to. It comes with adapters for various width bars, but the adapters are hard plastic and unforgiving. They do not form to a bar of a close size, and so I could not use it at all. I think if the adapters were rubber instead of hard plastic, it may have been ok.

The joints on this umbrella are poorly designed and cheaply constructed meaning that tightening the screws does not prevent the umbrella from either moving or falling to one side in the slightest breeze. Unfortunately, I installed this product and am therefore unable to return it for a refund.

Not compatible with Dicks Tour Trek premium golf cart. If your handy, you can make it work and secure it. Ok, once out there on a hilly course with steady 7-10 mph winds it held up for about three holes when the vice press holding the umbrella secure in the holster broke off, was lost on fairway resulting in umbrella flying out. Also very bulky.

This would fine for a permanent install on a device you own. It requires tools and significant effort to install though, so it is worthless for rental strollers and wheelchairs.

Don’t use a heavy golf umbrella with this one. It only took one strong wind to tip over the push cart and the cinching knob broke easily. Mounts like this just aren’t durable, it’s best to have an umbrella holder screwed directly into the push/pull cart handle.

I have installed it but have not used it on the Links yet. Love the solid molded plastic. Fits well on my older 2 wheel pull cart. Accommodates various size umbrella handles.
