Most comfortable pack I've ever owned
This is by far the most comfortable multiple day / extended trip pack I've ever hiked under! At 3800 cubes, it's got exactly enough space for my bag, 1p tent, pot, stove, lighting, water filter, clothing layers, gear for my dog and food for 5 days. It has a hydration pocket too, but it's a little tight which makes it difficult to get the bladder in and out for refills on the go - without having to unpack the pack. But that's basically the only thing I can see improving. It says it's good for up to 40lbs of load and it is - and all without a single hotspot! I usually get rubs / bruises on my clavicle and hips from heavier loads and this is the only pack I've owned that's never given me a single one, from 20 lbs to 40. The mesh pockets on the front and side seem to be unendingly stetchy - there doesn't seem to be much you couldn't squeeze into them. The lid doubles as a hip pack for day hikes / scrambles from base camp and it's really well ventilated along the back. I highly recommend the nimbus trace to anyone looking for a durable, COMFORTABLE and super light mid size multi day pack!

Love this color!
Granite Gear makes some fantastic backpacks...some of the best on the market. I am absolutely in love with the coloration of this backpack...I've never seen anything like it. My favorite out of any other backpack I've seen. I just wish they would continue these colors for other smaller packs like the Crown and Lutsen!
