The safe seems extremely well built, and the instructions ...
The safe seems extremely well built, and the instructions are fairly clear. The only thing is, it's not clear where or how to put the tiny hook to hang the keys, and the directions do not address this. It looks as though there is a hook at the bottom you could hang it from, but that would only work if you hung it upside down. I read another person's review, and they showed it with the hook hung behind the top screw, which makes sense. The hook itself could be a bit bigger, as it is pretty small. As well, I have quite long nails, so pushing the button to open it can be very tricky - obviously not a problem with the unit itself, but something to keep in mind if you have long nails.

Easy to install
I bought this as im getting really forgetful, so much so i bought it then forgot where id put it !£150 quid later after having to wait a few hours for a locksmith to come out i soon found it again.Twice now ive praised the lord for having it as ive fprgotten keys again....Sturdy and well fixed to my wooden door frame, it would take some hammering to remove if some low life tried to get it off.Id recommend for sure

Easy to fit and operate
The key safe is very strong and easy to use. I find the wire loop for holding the key strange. I would have thought a strong hook in the top would have been better. In fact I'm not sure of the purpose of the loop. We only use it for one key which is leaned against the sides. It was easy to fit to the walls although we used longer screws and plugs.

Good cost efective devise.
Boight this for my dad who has recently needed the use of outside agencies to look after his medical and social needs. It has worked perfectly and given him a bit of a boost knowing that people can get to him when needed. Looked at the many key safes including the numberpad versions but these seemed to be less secure. All the numberpad versions appeared to have the problem of any number sequence of your chosen numbers opened the key safe and was therefore less scure. For example if your code was 1234, if you entered 2341, ir would still open. With this keysafe you had to imput the exact sequence and therefore was farmore secure. You just have to remember that it is able bodied visitors who need to use the keysafe and therefore the thumbwheel devise is both more secure and user friendly.

Doesn't really come with a useful hook
This is an initial review because I am a little, well very disappointed with the key hook.So far the keysafe looks good and sturdy and has a useful weather cover.I bought it specifically because it said there was a key hook. I didn't look hard enough at picture two. It is nothing but a tiny, weeny sliver of metal. Not any use whatsoever for my key.Looking at the size and shape of the storage space though a hook isn't really necessary. My previous keysafe needed a hook because the key was very difficult to get out unless suspended. The unit is quite large but very smart looking with it's black protective cover.

Very sturdy and easy to install key safe
This is a very sturdy, well made product. The Safe is fitted to the wall with 4 screws (provided) and it is tight to the wall with no gaps - so to remove it would take some effort (a big hammer and a crowbar). Fitting it to the wall took about 10 minutes and operating instructions were adequate.I like the fact that the combination lock wheels are behind a small flap - protects it from dust and wet.My only slight niggle was that It could do with a little hook (I just added a self adhesive one) to hang the keys from the top - as the door hinge is at the bottom loose keys can obstruct the door when closing it - just needed a bit of jiggling.

A Good Key Safe.
I have not mounted this box on the wall yet. I have carefully greased all working parts and tested the release with various combinations. It works well. The box is strong and holds enough keys for my purpose. One minor drawback is the small release rocker button which requires a strong pressure - not easy as fingers tend to slip off and someone with weaker fingers (or long nails) might find it awkward. The instructions are ok but state that with the door open (assuming the unit is mounted on a wall) the reset button/lever is on the left - actually it is on the right. Otherwise I think this is a good key box and will work well for a long time. Time will tell.

Well worth the money
Product came on delivery time. In appropriate packaging. It was easy to set up and position outside. It does say it is easy to operate but like all of these key safes it can be a bit of a fiddle to manoeuvre the numbers. The safe does have a rubber dust cover and the safe is of a good size. I would say when positioning the safe be aware of how much light there is available when it is dark as the numbers can be difficult to make out in poor light.the torch from a mobile phone has helped. All in all I am very pleased with the purchase
