What is the exact height of this fountain? Can't beleive it is 38 inches high. How about 31 inches?

I thought it would be 38" high as stated but it is not. It is only 31" high and I can read a tape measure unlike Sharon.

Does a screen come with this to keep out leaves?

Sorry, no. We use a small fish tank net to scoop out the leaves. But, We love the fountain and can hear the water splash from several areas of our home. It's totally worth having.
