This is a perfect shaver head holder replacement for my husband's Norelco Shaver. He was so excited to be able to find one.

Fits perfectly came super fast at reasonable price

I bought this shaver head holder in April, 2022, after I had become dissatisfied with the Norelco S6540 replacement shaver that I bought at Costco. My old Norelco 8540XL shaves faster and closer and is smaller and lighter for traveling than my new S6540. However, its shaver head holder had worn out and would no longer hold the shaver heads securely, so I bought this Chinese replacement head holder hoping to extend the life of my 8540XL.The shaver heads are held securely but the head holder does not attach securely to the shaver body. When I pop the head open to clean it, I have to hold it so that it doesn't fall off into the sink potentially damaging the shaver heads. That's a nuisance that could have been avoided had the attachment hinge been manufactured more precisely. I'm about ready to order a different Chinese head holder, but I'm not confident that it would actually be a different head holder and that it would fit more securely.

I have an old 8240 XL which has been a great shaver providing many years of great service. The shaver head holding mechanism was worn out and the cutting heads just flopped around making the shaver less effective. After installing this replacement part my shaver has become transformed. The photo does not show the mechanism which holds the cutter heads in this holder. It comes with this replacement part. The design is different than the original part and is not interchangeable with the older style holder.This has been a great purchase and has allowed me to continue to use a shaver I like very much.
