Got stain on one knife and the for the big one is hard to cut meat

I got this knives set several years ago at a supermarket, the largest knife from this set broke right at the bolster and I started looking for another knife to cut meat, when I found them on amazon website I decided to make a review.The positive part:The knives are sharp and work well, when they loose the edge just use a sharpening rod and go ahead they work nice again. None of them got stained as other mentioned, and these were used every day and still using the two remaining in one piece.The negative:the largest knife broke at the bolster when I tried to cut a piece of raw meat, no bones into that piece, never hit the blade's spine with any object, never bent it.May be you give it a try, they will last several years and at the end, the price is cheap.

wow, didn't expect such a good product for such a cheap price, but the ring guard before the handle is already slipping and not secure... crazy glue should fix it for a $1.00
