Shoes with potential but with a design flaw
They look good and I suspect they would perform well if I didn’t receive a faulty pair. The eyelets are made of fabric and one of them was not stitched in at all - a stitching machine fault, I’m guessing so when I pulled the shoesstring on the first attempt, it just flipped out and rendered the whole shoe unusable. Somehow it passed quality control or it was just my bad luck to get a faulty one but still I think it’s a design flaw and for hiking shoes like those, one needs proper metal eyelets.

Not waterproof
Although they are meant to be waterproof, they are definitely not.

Same issue Adam had - the fabric on an eyelet wasn't stitched properly and broke when I first put them on

Misleading advertising
Comfortable and well fitting. Did not last much more than 10 months, and I suspect this is because although they're advertising these as waterproof, they're most certainly not. I could take the short life given the relatively cheap price, but the fact they are advertised as something that they are not is a let down.If you're using these very very occasionally for light and rain free walking then they're great, for anything else don't waste your time.

Great casual walking boot
I wear boots all the time, summer or winter. I have had expensive boots last me 5 plus years and had cheap ones last that too. I expect these to be somewhere in the middle (2+ years), they're well made and felt quite comfortable on morning walks. I will be adding a leather insole for more comfort and added sweat absorption because they are mainly synthetic uppers. Don't expect these to take you to the summit of Everest or bounce you down ragged fells, they are 30 quid and should be treated as inexpensive footwear.

Better out there
Boots are OK for the money but you can get much better with some of the deals on Amazon. Not half as comfy as Karrimor or Regatta boots I own & all cost less than these from Amazon. Insoles are as thin as paper, had to change them after only one longish dog walk. If it hadn't had the free boot bag, I probably would not have kept them. Definately not that waterproof either. OK if your only going to use them every now & then but if like me you want them everyday to walk the dog etc.... I'd look elsewhere.

Good comfy walking, and nice looking shoes
Good shoe bought this for a walk up snowdon and it held up very well. I only had one issue with the shoe which I spoke to the seller about and they were very helpful. With regards to the laces coming undone on other reviews this was true for me however this was the first time walking in them and it was all day so wasnt an issue for me and would probably improve as the shoes stretch through use. Very comfy and lots of grip for what I needed. I will be using this brand again when buying new products.

Zero quality control
I received the first pair of these Lago Terra boots about one week ago only to find the insole was missing from one of the boots. I returned these and received a second pair by Wednesday 20th March, these looked the part and both insoles in tact. I put the boots on and tightened the laces only for one of the eyelets to pull straight out of its stitching. I was very disappointed as the boots look great but there are just not fit for purpose. I shall return the second pair and request a full refund and then purchase a proper pair of walking boots. Richard R
