Replacement Earpad for my DENON AH-D2000
Just had these to replace the originals on my 6 year old AH2000 and so far they are excellent. Very comfortable. I thought fitting would be a problem but not so. Thanks to the handy little yellow tool, it was just like using tyre leavers on a bicycle tyre, only more delicate.Time will tell on how long they last, but in the meantime, I've ordered three more just in case.

If you expect quality, do not buy.
These are cheap and overpriced earpads.Dont get me wrong, they do the job but they cost a lot compared to other pads available, i feel i am wearing £20 headphones with those pads.I think there would be absolutely no difference between these and £5 ebay Pads, making me think i was ripped off, even tho i paid £19.Feels like they are going to brake within a year. Never again.

Confortable

Nearly perfect Fostex T50RP upgrade!!!
First off these are NOT memory foam. These use basic sponge foam like most other ear pads. The description is wrong. That said they're nice and soft and very comfortable. Construction quality is okay, at least up to par with stock Denon pads. I wish they had been memory foam or maybe some nicer pleather, but they aren't junky by any means. I'm very satisfied with what they are, but the seller needs to change their ad to reflect the actual material. I didn't expect them to be memory foam but it was worth a shot. These ended up being my ultimate choice for the Fostex T50RP Mk3. Every other pad I've tried has changed their sound for the worse. My ultra thick angled Fostex TR90 pads made them boomy and sibilant. Shure 1540 pads like everyone recommends kill their bass somewhat and also make them hotter on the treble. etc.So I started at the basics. Shape and thickness. These are easily half the thickness or less of other angled pads out there. Also, they have a similarly shaped hole for your ears to the Fostex pads. In fact they look very much like a stock T50RP pad might look if it were angled! But, T50RPs don't like changing the driver distance to your ear, so any extra thickness at all should be bad, right? Well, these also have a larger opening, and are over-ear instead of on-ear like the stock pads. This means the pads sit flush on your head and the driver to ear distance is very similar to the stock pads as well. So what do they sound like then?Well they're not perfect. However, even without EQ, the headphones still largely retain their sound signature. The pads also add a little soundstage due to their angled shape which is a positive for sure. Still perfectly listenable for the most part with no other changes but the pads. They do add a 10KHz peak which comes across as sibilance, but -4db at 10k worked fine to eliminate it. Also these sacrifice just a hair of bass, but +1db on the lower frequencies was enough to bring the bass back and then some. I am more than satisfied to EQ the tiny differences out. It's not like the Shure 1540 pads which turned them into a muffled, shrieking mess, or the TR90 pads which turned them into hot soup. Just a slight difference. If I hadn't had a lot of time with these headphones beforehand, I might not even notice the differences. The cloth filter on these Denon pads is a little thinner and might actually be part of the difference. I have considered something like the tissue mod or cutting out the old cloth filters and putting them under the new ones. Just a small adjustment. I already like the sound of the T50RP Mk3s with these pads so I wouldn't want to alter too much. Basically a thicker filter and a touch of bass in the EQ, and add these pads, and away you go with budget HD600 rivals. So while I didn't put these on Denon headphones, I did have a superb use for them. A great find for these very picky Fostex planars.
