Spy Gear - Night Scope

This was bought for my 10 year old. It works ok. It is a toy and should be expected to work as well as a toy should. He was not that impressed with it, neither was I.

Would be nice to have an option for a gift note

given as a gift for a bond spy night party. The kids love this. The adult kids love it even more. Fun to use and made the party even more special. A wonderful gift.

Light didn't work. Changed the batteries, and it still didn't work. The kids still use them as binoculars, but a disappointment as it doesn't work as advertised.

my son hassled me for ages to buy him 'spy goggles' , I tried to resist because deep down I knew that the reality would never meet his expectations. I eventually bought him these for Christmas and, to be fair to him, he put a brave face on it, but I was not proved wrong. These are very far from impressive. The goggles flatten it a closed position which can be locked, or they can open up a few cms and you can look through then. There is a very slight magnifying effect but you could not really use then as meaningful binoculars. The night vision function is a small red light that comes on and dimly illuminates the area - you cant seen much, and it only works well in total darkness (under the bed covers is a good spot). It is not really night vision of course - you dont get that for £9.22 and free delivery - it is just a dim red torch. there is a clip on the top of the base of the unit that my son uses to clip onto the waistband of his trousers so he has then always with him....just in case. He does get a lot of fun out of them despite the obvious short comings,he knows they are just a toy.

My grandson aged 8 loves this , he is always bringing it out with him , although it is just a toy he has lots of fun playing with it and it has withstood 8 month of use so far without breaking ...kids will love it
