Hot Dish - PC/Mac

I recently purchased this game from Amazon.com. I had tried the free download trial version from big fish. When I received the full version from Amazon and installed it I was surprised to see that it does not work any differently than the trial version. The selections of the 3 restaurants have padlocks on them and can not be selected. I have sent 3 email request to the manufacturer's (value soft) tech support department asking for info and help with the problem. They as of yet have not even replied to my request ebven on their web site they say they will do so within 2 to 2 days.Save your money. buy some other computer game.

Overall I enjoy this game. It's fast-paced and will really test your time management and multi-tasking skills. You have to cook 3 dishes at the same time. Ideally you'll finish all 3 dishes at the same time, but keep in mind that some dishes take longer and have more steps than others!

I thought it might be fun to try and be a chef, however, the game itself really isn't a game. It really just has you going through the motions of each step in creating a dish. No real interaction that goes on. Just cook, cook, cook. Didn't get past the first round. Boring.

Hot dish with Teddy Spaghetti is an amazing contribution to the arts. Impressive that a man was able to so accurately capture the thrill and feeling of cooking and cleaning. My favorite dish was the "GAMMAGOOL".Lead game designer Theodore "Teddy" Spaghetti was ahead of his time in the First person/RPG cooker gaming genre and he really deserves a Michelin star for this beautiful game.The music was written by drunken, high IQ classical pianist Owen Benjewman. His talent also lends another dynamic to this game. He brilliantly only recorded about 40 seconds so it just plays over and over and over in a droning loop that makes you feel the true monotony of working in an actual kitchenId gladly have a 2nd helping of "HOT DISH".GAMMAGOOSH!!!

it can be a fun game,you know how to play.

I bought this from another store and did have the trial version on my computer and I have not had any problems! I love this game!The graphics are cute with the different executive chef/owner shouting out encouraging words or letting you know if your dish was only ok.The sounds are great! You can actually hear the food "boiling" or "frying".The difficulty level depends on how many of these games you have played before and if you can multi-task. The levels get harder as you go up but you can learn very quickly early on to master the game!This game is very addicting, before I knew it I was playing for 3 hours! I have played several cooking games on different systems, and this has to be one of my favorites. I recommend this for middle aged children to adults! Definetly give it a try! One of the best cooking games out there!
