SojosComplete Beef Recipe Dehydrated Dog Food, 7 lb, Yellow

Transitioning my dog over to raw so using this food to ease into it. So far she loves it and is a picky eater. Definitely have to shake the bag to redistribute all the contents but that’s not a big deal. Expensive but worth it for us.

I’ve got a very picky Yorkie with a sensitive stomach. He really likes this but leaves the bits he’s not crazy for all over the house :( it’s too much of a mess for me to pick up after him so I won’t be re- ordering.

I love feeding Sojos dog food to my best buddy. As far as I know, I do not think they have had any recalls -( I use a site called dog food advisor to make sure nothing I feed her is recalled) It is reconstituted with water and is easy to make - Saves on space as it is freeze dried and the bottom line is, it is a really healthy food for my dog. I do wish it weren't so darn expensive but, in the long run, the old saying "you are what you eat" goes for your fur friends too. I make very few trips to the vet. So far only check ups and teeth cleaning. This is amazing considering my best friend is a retired greyhound and did not get the best start in life. I adopted her when she was 2 years old and she is now 6 years old. (Knock on wood) she has been extremely healthy) I spend more money on her food than mine and I wish there were coupons or some kind of program where after buying a certain number of bags you get one free. Anything that would help those of us who want to do what is right for our pets but are not wealthy. It is getting to a point where only those with big bucks can afford a pet. I believe if you are going to take on the responsibility of taking care of a living creature, you should do it right or not do it at all. Far too many people think giving their dogs any old junk kibble or canned food is acceptable. In my opinion it is not. Taking care of an animal of any kind takes a lot of work, time, patience and love, along with money. Flea control, rabies shots, teeth cleaning are all very important and since your dog can not speak you have to educate yourself in order to know if and when your dog is in pain. Their teeth are a big deal and can cause tremendous pain (no different than when we have tooth pain) but, they cannot tell us. What your dog eats affects how often they will need to have their teeth cleaned. I highly recommend Sojos dog food and along with a topper that is high in protein. So many people tell me, " It is so good you "saved" her" and I always reply, honestly it was the other way around. She is my best friend and I feel spending the money for a quality dog food is one way to show her I love her. Having extremely rare vet bills is a plus. My gal, like all dogs and pets, deserve food that is healthy for them. I also have the peace of mind that Sojos is (so far) a safe dog food without any recalls. That in and of itself, is worth the money I spend for 2 bags every 6 weeks. I am disabled and live far below the poverty line but, she is my priority. I waited six years before I knew I would be able to afford all that comes with the responsibility of having a pet. It took a lot of research to find a dog food I could trust that would pass my tests and Sojos is it! Now if they could only lower the price a bit... Ha ha ha!

My dogs love this food. I am currently feeding 3 dogs with this bag. It usually last about 3 weeks. It’s easy to make and super healthy for the dogs.

I have been feeding my dogs this product for some time now. However, each time I order the price goes up . . As a result, I have weened one of my dogs off the Sojos, as it has become extremely expensive. I still have some product left and mixing it with another dog food for my other dog to make it last longer. However, I’m I researching a substitute for another product due to the higher price now.Very disappointed

My dog is no stranger to freeze-dried food, having tried Primal Pet Food, Stella and Chewy’s, Open Farm, Dr. Marty’s, and our absolute favorite, Pamico. We were excited to try Sojo’s because in the listing photos it appeared to be similar to Pamico (in which every ingredient is easily identifiable).What we received was a bag of mostly powder. Adding water to this resulted in a Weetabix consistency. Also, this food had a sweet smell, which probably isn’t bad, but it was not what I expected.For the most part, my dog digested this food alright. He certainly enjoyed the taste of it, but he also eats garbage off of the street if he sees it before I notice. His palate is not exactly refined. In any event, the ingredient list for this turkey recipe just was not compelling enough to outweigh the fact that I was basically feeding my dog a Thanksgiving menu in oatmeal form.

My dogs just LOVE this food. It has all kinds of great natural and a variety of ingredients.

My dogs really like this food but it's insanely expensive. The 7 lbs bag with the beef flavor yields about 30 cups and costs $119 excl. taxes at the time I'm writing this. That's about $4 per cup. I have 2 dogs between 65-70 lbs. According to the instructions on the package I should feed each of them about 4 cups per day. That's $16 per dog per day or $480 per month for one dog. If I add taxes I would be out over $1k per month for two dogs. I currently feed my dogs kibble in the morning and self prepared fresh food in the evenings (meat & veggies). I was hoping this would be a good alternative and less work but the price would have to be half of what it is now for me to use this as their main food.

Purchased a few times. My furkids love this flavour and it is good for their overall well-being after i goggle. therefore I joined as the prime member I order to a good shipping price.

My Dog Loves it

Smells like cup noodles. There are chunks of meat which i like... I used it to mix with grandma lucy artisan pork. My goldie eats almost anything. She enjoys it.
