would using cutting fluid for drilling into metal, with these bits be recommended?

Be careful what you use for drilling into metal. It sounds like you know the difference between "cutting oil" and oil that is intended for lubrication applications. Certain types of metals or alloys cannot be drilled without cutting fluid - the bit will just spin in place. And get overheated in the process. These are excellent quality bits and I couldn't help but notice the smallest sizes are doubled - since they can break during a job - and the 1/4" bit is doubled -- smooth move, since shop DIY experts such as ourselves, use the 1/4" size most frequently and it's just nice having "spares" on hand. Anyway, good luck!

Can these be used to drill in concrete?

Not a concrete drill. Not much of a drill at all from the couple of times I have used these. Drill one hole and the tip is GONE! Terrible product.

can the bits be used on metal and wood

These work on wood and soft metal. They handled aluminum without issue. They do not do well against hardened steel (look for M42 cobalt bits for that).

I got sick & tired of my previous drill bit set. While they were much cheaper to buy, looked great and there was a fabulous range of drill bits, they did not work. I would be endlessly pushing on the drill for extended periods without much success. I purchased these drill bits after considerable review of what was available and have been very pleasantly surprised how easy they are to use. No more frustration and heavy pressure on the drill for long periods trying to drill a hole. The DeWalt drill bits that I have used so far just cut through metal like butter - such a pleasure to work with and worth the money. Fingers crossed they will last a long time for me.

Titanium Nitride Drill Bits

I purchased these titanium nitride drill bits by Dewalt for a recent house project because I needed heavier duty drill bits. These bits fit the bill and got the job done a lot easier compared to other brands. These drilled through metal with ease and made the job a lot easier. They are solid quality and very strong. A great value for the price. Definitely recommend.
