Chosera 1,000 Grit Stone with a Base

鉋の研ぎに使用していますが研削力大で良い感じです。プラスチックの台の無いタイプがあったら良いと思います。

タイトルの通りで接着してあります固定台とか買わないよう注意してください

うまく研げてつかいやすい。

刃物の鋼種により合う合わないがあります。ステンレス系は良く研げます。和鋼（青紙系）は、削りにくいです。

砥石は商品（メーカー）として多数あり、何を購入していいのか判断に迷うが同商品は安心感がある。

... I am not a Japanese speaker, so I wasn't aware, that this stone is glued to the base. After the painful process of removing the base and freeing the stone from the glue, it was apparent that the backside had imperfections.So for me this stone was a mixed bag, so to say.

This stone is my go to stone when I have to do minor repairs. I do not suggest this stone for bevel setting as it will take you too long to do so. The scratches that this stone leaves are not too bad and the grit rating of 400 is too low for this stone, this cuts close to 600 in my opinion. The only downside of this stone is that it makes me wish that there was a Chosera 200.
