Researched and found that this micron size should catch baby moina.
I wanted a micro mesh to prevent Moina from getting sucked into my pump during water changes. It also prevents baby shrimp from getting accidentally sucked, too. I cut a piece to fit over the water change pump’s tube opening leaving a few extra inches so I can gather the fabric over and around the tube end, and then secure it all with a rubber band to keep it in place.

A good product
I use this material for my worm tower. The material for my purpose allows moisture to pass through but keeps the worms from migrating ,

Tough yet filters well
Great item! We use it to filter small metal chips from our metal CNC. It holds up without tearing yet all the coolant passes through.

Completely misleading and mislabeled fabric, leading to wrong size purchase
Product is mislabeled and misleading. What is shown as 250 micron is actually 250 mesh (250 lines per inch). Everything being sold is labeled in microns but this is wrong. What is being sold as "250 micron" mesh is actually 35 microns, or 250 fibers per inch. What they sell as 60 microns is 60 mesh, or about 300 micron size. Completely backwards!
