I bought this roller ball pen for my wife as her birthday gift. She is a teacher and works and lives in Alabama, so I placed the order and filled it out with her address. I could have purchased a necklace or a handbag instead, but at the last second, I changed my mind. My wife is a CROSS MANIAC, she has more than 10... 10 and 14 karat gold Cross pens, 2 of them were given by her dad. After all these years, she never tried such pens from any other brand, NEVER!So I googled CROSS and WATERMAN, it was a nightmare and they would NOT accept my order.  I turned back to AMAZON. Instead of searching CROSS or WATERMAN, I just typed ballpoint pens gold and let the system do the rest, and I saw this 24 karat gold plated pen immediately because the price is crazy!!! But I still added this pen to cart to surprise her? Maybe I’m cheap...I am an ordinary guy who is willing to pay the minimum money for great items and I’m very particular with item quality although I spend only a little.She came home the other day with the pen, that was when I had the first chance to take a close look at it. To be honest, I was really amazed. The pen looks GREAT!!! It’s of gold color with inlaid crystals. Seller says they’re zircon stones, I am not sure but they undoubtedly match the gold color. My wife says it writes smoothly and with it’s medium nib, it writes thicker than her other fine CROSS pens, it feels different like changing a habit developed long time ago. This pen is uniquely balanced, different to the other pens.The writing is natural, with a perfectly suitable audible scratchiness on the right sort of paper, and my signature absolutely rocks while using this pen. Great DEAL!!!

 Let me start off by saying this is the best pen I have EVER bought. This pen speaks luxury and high quality. It is all metal, nice and heavy but not unbearably heavy. I thought stones were going to be little plastic beads but they are actual cut stones. Very impressed! Pen wrote a bit rough the first 30 seconds (obviously cause it is new) but then began to write super smooth. I use it at work and my coworkers and customers think my pen I very expensive and they complement me a lot on it. I would highly recommend this pen so much so I even took the time to make a short video on it. I was very skeptical on the quality before buying and was super shocked with its beauty now that I don’t want anyone to even second question this item. Watch the video and hopefully it did it justice.

This thing was way overpriced. $15 for a $3 pen. The ink does not keep a solid line when writing. The actual pen casing looks ok but feels cheap. I could try another type of ink and may use it.
