the blue boiler
What a lovely kettle.....just the right size at 1.7l and it doesn't take long to boil at all....you can even boil one cupful....water level easy to see....lid opener with just a button...it pours really well and has a lovely blue light when set to boil...love the square lid and the round base...so unusual and it has a 3 year warranty if you register it online with Russell Hobbs....really pleased with it

It really IS quick and quiet
I'm very happy with this kettle. It's a great price, it's quick and quiet! Looks so good in the kitchen too. I like that it's round at the bottom, square at the top, the fill marker, the light, the on button. It's all good.

Full marks from me
After a leaking old kettle a new one was needed and I really wanted something a bit quieter than my previous which was very noisy when boiling. Really pleased with this kettle, looks wise it's very cool, has quiet boil which is so much quieter than before and boils pretty quickly too. There's a handy indicator inside the kettle for 1, 2 or 3 cups and boiling 1 cup is rapid. Can't fault this kettle at all.

Nice kettle
Bought this as an emergency Which? mag recommendation after my old one blew up, and pleased with it after 2 weeks. I usually only boil one cup and this has a measure for that. The spout is brilliant for pouring - best one I've ever had. The flip side is the spout is therefore not the best for filling from the tap, but there's a push button to open the lid easily. Not too heavy. Not too noisy. Boils my cup way quicker than the old kettle. Looks nice, although the midnight blue at the bottom is very dark - nearly black. Not immediately obvious from the photos but it's round at the bottom and graduates to square at the top. Metal so the body gets hot, but the lid and handle are plastic and stay cool. At the more expensive end, but it has the features I want so OK with that.(Weirdly, Amazon asked for a rating for flavour. I gave it * although I admit that I haven't licked it).

I like the fact that this kettle is quieter when boiling. Looks nice and is a good size

last not even 1 year, not worth the money.
The media could not be loaded. nice looking kettle but but stop workinh after 11mths, not worth the money. It used to be a good brand, really disappointed.

A genuinely beautiful item
The subtle grading from midnight blue at the base up to shiny silver and the illuminated blue boiling visible through the side window makes this a genuinely beautiful item. In addition it pours like a dream with a generous unfettered flow with no spills or drips. Form and function achieved. A lovely product.
