My department that I work for the Corporol is slow and stingy with equipment so I purchased my own mic for a Hytera, PD702. Amazon had a Hytera brand mic for $75.00.I was not going to pay that price.I saw this mic and needed it in 2 days and received it.The mic works on my assigned radio but the sound quality is scratchy at times.The mic button is too sensitive that my uniform will set it off.The scanner button (orange button) is too hard and unless I look at the radios led I don't know if the radio is on scan.I needed a mic and I wanted to purchase one on Prime because I needed it ASAP because I did not like using my radio without mic.The price was great.The reception and transmission ok.The cord is thick.UPDATE: After 2 weeks the mic is not working.Came into work and found it hot to the touch.

I purchased this for work in a very noisy prison environment. The radio that I am assigned has no issues with any other mic. However the first time i had to turn the volume up all the way, the speaker on this microphone piece blew out. It still works, however is squeaky, garbled, and quite frankly painful to listen to. Would NOT recommend or purchase again. Do not purchase if you work in a loud environment. Better yet, just pray you don't have to use a Hytera radio in general and you'll be much better off.

Good quality shell but didn’t transmit well the speaker was okay at best. Couple months down the road completely stopped working.
