Bright Affordable Light With Nice Extras
This is a very bright light with several brightness levels as well as a strobe light. The light night only provides a bright beam a good distance, but wide as well, so you should your surroundings well and people will certainly see you coming. It feels like a solid light as the material is Aircraft Aluminum Alloy. The finish is a military grade hard anodized. I put it through a water test and there were no issues. The light continued to work even with water being poured on it. When charging the battery it took several hours. You will see a red smiling face when charging and when done a green smiley face. Battery life calls for 5-7 hours depending on the brightness you have it set for.The light has a strong rubber strap to lock the light in place on the handle bar. There are tie wraps for the wires leading to the battery pack. There is an additional cable to allow you to use the battery to charge your phone with, so when you are not using the light, then its perfect to make sure your phone has power when you are out on a ride.Overall a nice value for the money. Bright now with very good battery life.

Very good, missing just a little to be great
Needed a new light after battery on my Cygolite Mitycross died and replacement battery was >$50. This whole light was cheaper than replacement battery for my previous light. I also like this product because it does not have a totally fake claim of 5000 lumens....NONE of the cheap lights have that kind of output. This light is brighter than my old Cygolite and has less bluish tint which is nice. It's plenty powerful even for off road cycling through the woods. For on-road use it's an overkill. Battery is good quality and lasts as long as advertised....The fact that it can be powered from USB is a nice bonus. Get one of those 10,000+ mah USB battery backs from Amazon and you're good to go forever!Took one star off because of how it attaches to helmet - not a good system at all. It uses rubber bands that don't hold the light steady. Also the mounting system is bulky. My Cygolite mitycross was miles ahead of this light when it came to helmet attachment design.

I just ran a duration test on this light on ...
I just ran a duration test on this light on the lowest setting. After 24 hours, I stopped the test because it was still showing 3 LED bars, ie fully charged. I will use this light for my 24 hour ride coming up in a few months. The light is lightweight; generates no significant heat unlike other LED lights, which I believe is the key to it's stamina, low heat generation and 2 high quality 18650 Li-ion batteries( 2 cells concerned me at first, but not after running the test). Even at the lowest setting, it matches the brightness of my other lights that last at most 6 hours (on low power as well) with 8 cell batteries (ran them head to head). I have bought 4 so far, one as a gift, and planning to buy 2 more as backups. I likely will not use any of my other lights again.

Don't Get Caught in the Rain!
I was only able to use the light a few times before it stopped working. Unfortunately, by the time I decided to return it, the 30 day warranty ran out and I was SOL. Here's what happened with the light: it work great a couple of times until it started to rain on my third ride. Within about an hour of the rain, the light started to weirdly cycle through all of it's modes (various levels & one light off, one on, both off). At the same time, the light couldn't be turned off other than unplugging it completely. When I got home I let it continue to run for a couple of hours hoping that the heat would dry the unit out. This actually worked and the operation on the next ride was ok. But after that it randomly start going through the cycling modes routine (which is maddening while trying to see at night). Eventually it just stopped working altogether. The light might be fine if you never get caught in the rain with it, but I think this is an unreasonable expectation in my opinion.

I really enjoyed the dipped beam function which directs the beam down ...
This light is bright! The photos don't really do it justice to be honest (they were taken with my iphone 6+ on normal settings and haven't been altered or doctored in any way).I have used this a couple times now once off road and once just riding around my subdivision. Off road: I really enjoyed the dipped beam function which directs the beam down directly towards your wheels so you can see technical features and maneuver around them. The headlight is incredibly bright and at times I forgot I was using a light. On road: I forgot the light very effective in letting drivers know exactly where I am. Again the headlight provided more than enough light for me to get around without worry. The taillight has two functions steady and blinking. It is really bright and I noticed cars were more aware of me on my bike than before I bought it.See comparison shots and headlight size. I love the form factor.

Great for 2 hour rides or less
I haven't tried pushing a ride further than a few hours as I am a mountain biker, but this thing on full power is BRIGHT, and lasts that way for the duration of my rides. I haven't gotten too crazy with this attached, but I have jumped 5 stairs using this and it didn't even budge. There are better lights out there, sure, but why pay $300 when you can pay $30 for something 70% as good?!

Not a reliable light
Bright, as advertised, as long as it worked. One dark morning, the light, fully charged, stopped working. I recycled the on/off button several times, eventually holding it down for a couple seconds, and it came back on. Worked by holding down the button to turn it on, but only one light mode worked - couldn't use the extra bright light, and it would occasionally go off in the middle of the commute. This morning it wouldn't turn on or even show the battery was connected. The charge was fine. It just stopped working.
