Works for filling gaps in parquet
I used this to fill the gaps in the unfinished solid-oak parquet I'd laid, and it made a big difference to the finish. It's clear, and so the colour is the colour of the sawdust you mix it with, so it matches as well as your sawdust does. It goes way further than it says on the bottle if you mix it up with the sawdust and then sit there filling any gaps you spot one-by-one with a filling knife, rather than making a boatload and squeegeeing it all across the floor like grout. It also dries pretty quickly, like maybe half an hour, so don't make too much at a time. In the photo, the left is after the parquet was stuck down, sanded level and filled. The right is after it was stained.

Great stuff
I was introduced to mix & fill by the guy who sanded down the floorboards in my last house. It's great stuff but you do need to use it properly. The gap you are filling needs to be clean and solid. If you have a raggy edge of a board which is full of dust, it's going to come straight out. Use sawdust that's from the wood you are filling if at all possible so you can get a colour match. Fine dust is best. Only use a small bit at a time. This depends on what you are filling. I've filled a hole where a Yale lock had previously been and of course, there was some shrinkage. I needed to do it in two parts. Generally, I find mixing maybe around 5 cubic centimetres at a time works well. Note also it does not keep. If you put a mix in a pot and put a lid on, it will go mouldy in a day or two. Like all fillers, put in a little bit too much so you can sand it down, but do not overdo it, unless you really like sanding. You also need to get the consistency right; if it's too sloppy it will shrink. The consistency should be more like Plasticine than toothpaste - you generally should be pressing it in, but at the same time it needs to be able to fill gaps so needs to be liquid to some degree. You need to use your judgement and be patient. If it's not staying in, do it again.

I wish I'd found this 20yrs ago
I wish I'd found this 20yrs ago when I was fitting and finishing high end wooden floors This is a fantastic filler. Even when it is oiled over it still blends in with the floor. The only reason I didn't give it 5stars was because it shrank ever so slightly. That said it was really easy to top up and because it drys so quickly means you can get the job done. I highly recommend this.

Disappointing
I have used Bona products both commercially in art galleries and theatres. Sadly this I found to be the most disappointing product, still not gone off hard after 4 days. It will just crumble out

Parquet floor filler
Worked very well as a filler for parquet, when mixed with fine sanding dust from the final sand. Made it look excellent, for a 60 year old floor. Only mix as much as you can work with, as I found it dries quickly if you can't work quickly.

Poor quality - would not recommend
Bought two bottles of this to fill gaps in parquet floor laid using old blocks. Have used almost three bottles of a 7 sq meter hallway. The produce does not go very far. Very disappointed as when dry it is very grainy and cracks. I have had to go over several areas twice and still cracks. The solid wood parquet blocks have been left covered in grey streaks which remain despite constant sanding. It has left the floor looking awful. Might have to sand the floor again using an industrial size sander and re-do the gaps with an alternative filler. Would not recommend.
