Confer Plastics 9300 Roll-2-Guard Modular & Adaptable Above Ground Entry System (A-Frame)

We returned a Royale Classic ladder and purchased this one and are VERY happy with the upgrade. We have a 54” above ground pool and installed the ladder as an A-frame, without the rollguards on either side, at the 55” mark. Assembly was easy with a mallet and the risers only need four screws. The ladder is clearly marked at the three applicable heights and fills with water to sit securely. The directions were not the best because there are different directions for each set up at different heights, but you’ll be able to figure it out. Kids and Adults are able to go up and down without feeling uneasy. It looks like it will be easy to clean. On the outside, we built a 5x6 mini deck for it to rest on but the bottom step is deeper which is nice with or without a bottom platform or deck.

I like this Friday is good for the family especially for my mother-in-law that she’s 70 she could get up and come down so I’m happy for that her weight it holds the weight because she’s a little bit thicker I say 300 and it’s easy for my little kid to come up and down it’s I love it. I recommend this. It’s easy to assemble the instructions. Are there at the box was closed. I like about that that nothing was missing.

Very sturdy. We haven't built a deck yet for our new pool. So we purchased this set. One box had 2 steps missing. Customer service was so easy to reach and with no questions asked , immediately sent out the missing 2 steps. Yes they are expensive but worth it in my opinion. I enjoy that the steps are very comfortable and wide. Good solid ladder.

Vary well bone

Had purchased a different set of steps from a large US company, when it arrived it was used and all sorts of pieces were missing. Connections didn’t line up, it was truly a disaster. Returned it (thank you Amazon) and ordered the 9300 AFrame. It came within a couple days, it had simple instructions, all parts were there, the strength/sturdiness of this ladder is superior to the other “big name”. If your pool is somewhat built in to the ground, you can adjust both sides independently. Also, I saved $200 on this stair entry system! If you’re researching, this is the one!

Easy to assemble. Very happy with the ladder

We purchased the Confer Plastics 9300 Roll-Guard A Frame ladder for our Intex rectangular pool. And yes, Confer plastics tells you this ladder is not suitable for soft side pools like the Intex brands…. But, it works great with ours. It’s sturdy, does not rub on interior or exterior walls. Plenty of room. The two ladders are held together with bolts through the top handles. We have had no issues this far. It has been a month. My only complaint (and this was user error) is that unless you put the screw in for the roll guard “stop” BEFORE you put the height risers on, you have no access to do it after the fact and the roll guard will slide all the way down and get stuck. We decided not to use the guards as we do not have small children and have a full fenced yard with gate locks. The stairs are easy to navigate in and out of the pool. I’m still not happy about the cost, but I’m much happier getting in and out of our pool now. Plus we can use them as deck mounted ladders down the road.

I bought an Intex 18x9 above-ground pool and was nervous about the small ladder that came with it. After doing some research, I wanted something more reliable and easier to use, especially for my toddler and older parents. These stairs have been amazing and make getting in and out of the pool so much easier. They are a little pricey, but definitely worth the investment. Safety comes first for my family, and I’m very happy with this purchase.
