I'm a fan of the VIctorinox Swiss Army Knife. I've been collecting Victorinox knives for 68 years, as a matter of fact, and I have hundreds. Lately in my retirement I've been learning how to refurbish and restore my knives. I found a guide on You Toob, and it gave me good information. I have the early stages of restoration down, but the later stages like polishing were beyond my abilities. I needed a slow speed buffer. Why? A fast buffer will MELT the plastic handles! I was pleased to find that this buffer/grinder is perfect for my needs. While the listing says it goes from 0 to 8000 rpm, that's BS. It won't go slower than about 400 rpm. The next step down os 0 rpm, but 400 rpm is ideal for my needs. Restoring the shine and smooth finish is critical to restoring the quality of the Victorinox knife! But it does more. I can use the same buffer to restore the finish of the blades and metal parts, giving me a complete solution to my knife restoration needs. The buffer is more than powerful enough for my needs. It's easy to use, and best of all, it is NOT noisy! I love it!

For a beginner as myself, I’ve found that Thai little bench buffer has helped me tremendously in getting something finished. Easy to use and set up, came with all tools needed to get going right out the box. Quality is what you pay for and for what your paying for is worth it to learn in down you have a actual great machine you won’t ruin it, I’m sure this will stay a back up for when any problems arise. To power the thing it’s a simple double prong plug in and having th ability to use the speed control really helps for out size. Can be tucked away daily easy and has a nice cast iron body so you know it will last and withstand some wear and tear.

This item came in with the accesories just thrown in the box, I'm not sure if I received a returned item or if it just comes like this. When I first plugged it started to smell like burnt, then the third time I tried to turn it on it it sarted to do sparks and the smell intensified. I will re-buy and see if I have better luck.

Just set it up, easy peasey. Solid, well built, looking forward to many years of service. Third purchase of Vevor products. Very satisfied.

Honesty great value. Virtually the exact same mini buffer retails at Rio grande under a different brand for 300$ and you don’t get any of the extras! I’ve have great success with this little guy so far! I did blow its fuse once but it was easy enough to replace!

I recommend it. I tested on 2000- 3000 rpm. Precious, semi-precious, none precious metals with polishing compound. Motor strong (not stopping with pressure) grinding green, blue lab stone inside 3/4 inch thick fine just use 6000 rpm. Key from chuck tie to power cord. Hand piece didn't try, but I think for polishing pink stone, polishing rubbers and polyester brush will work ok. Quiet. Quality I don't know yet. I had "Baldor" for 32 years made in USA
