This game is fun for adults and children. It can be played alone or with a group. Instructions for a variety of ways to score are provided. I purchased this as a gift for my adult son and his wife who are recent empty-nesters. Plus my son is recovering from surgery. The game is easy to play, self contained and very portable for traveling. Sturdy and lightweight. I recommend it for singles, families and groups.

I saw a video on Twitter of people playing this, and immediately ordered it. It showed up two hours into a three day power outage and is really the only thing that kept us sane. No power, no screens, nothing to do, and this little wooden box kept us legitimately entertained the entire time. Did not expect a dice math game to be the MVP of that week but here we are. The game’s a lot of fun on its own. Easy to learn, works solo or with people, and it’s surprisingly good for kids since it’s really just addition and a little strategy. The set is better than I expected too. The wood is solid, the tiles are substantial, and flipping them down and setting them back up is weirdly satisfying. I catch myself resetting the tiles just to flip them again (you’ll understand when you get it, but you start at the number 12 and try to get them all to stand back up in one swoop using your index finger). It’s fun enough that we keep it out, not buried in a closet with the other games. Heads up, it’s harder than it looks to actually shut the box. During the blackout I played for three or four days straight, hours at a time, before I finally cleared every tile. Important to note, I won and shut the box before my wife did. If you’re competitive, I’d clear your calendar before you sit down with it. When I went to write this I tried to film a quick time-lapse and ended up winning on camera, so I obviously had to include that for documentation purposes (for you sure, but mainly for my wife). It plays the time-lapse and then slows down so you can check my work. And no, it didn’t take hours this time, the blackout reps paid off. Solid set, legit fun, kept multiple people entertained for three powerless days. Easy rec for game night, travel, the kids, or the next time the lights go out.

I had never heard of this game but bought it per my daughter’s request. It’s more fun than I expected and is a fun way to practice math. We have played more than I thought we would. Definitely a game to add to game night.
